Another one of my great farm clients Laura Ann & Dan. They have 3 horses, 4 chickens, 1 bossy rooster, 2 barn cats & one dog. The dog Tashi at 16, is one of my most senior dogs & is a special guy. One of the horses, Sansa, is my youngest animal at just a year.

What a great, handsome guy! Anyone have room in their hearts?
🚨NO APPS FOR CHANCE?🚨
Chance has been with us for 4 weeks. Chance has not had anyone come meet him. 💔
Chance is by far the most social dog we have right now - and maybe even this year. He is VERY BUBBLY AND LAID BACK with dogs. He takes feedback so well. He is sweet, playful, but understands social cues and can coexist. He is social enough to ignore reactive dogs / picky dogs like Zeus!
Chance has been on store walks at PetSmart, car rides to Achille Agway, play dates at volunteers/friends houses like Jo Grubman Art…Chance can do it all.
On top of that he’s been good with kids. He needs more practice with them - he’s new to kids but done phenomenal.
He’s met a cat and shows potential!
His true talent is zoomies with his doggy friends and snuggling and love with all people.
Chance is 1, neutered, healthy and stunning! To make Chance your companion or family dog - apply to adopt!

Yes! When a horse is having trouble with something very important to look for the why instead assuming it's just being naughty or obstinate. Once you know the "why" much easier to help the horse through it.
Sharing this fundraiser for mud mats for our Veterans Equine Program supports, Dublin & Chloe to make their feeding area easier to navigate especially for Chloe's arthritic knee. Any bit is much appreciated and shares are helpful as well!

Late posting-
Attended a great 2-day clinic to review Basic Equine First Aid & to learn how to handle Advanced First-Aid Situations. Lots of hands on practice & real life scenarios/ case studies to learn from. The horses were such great models! Such vital skills to have and some super tips/tricks for horse owners/handlers.

Happy Holidays to all my fabulous clients & their animals. I appreciate you trusting them to me this year. Hope everyone has an enjoyable & safe holiday!
Thanks so much to all my amazing clients that have trusted me to care for their animals! I am lucky to have a great group. If need services going forward please try to book me in advance as far as possible & I will try to accommodate you. In 2023 I will not be as likely to do 2-3 jobs simultaneously as I have been in order to allow myself more personal time. I will take new clients selectively-giving priority to folks with farm, animals or a combo of indoor pets & farm animals (these clientele have less access to knowledge help compared to pet only owners). Thanks as well to all my wonderful friends who have referred clients.
🤣😅😂
Attended a Large Animal Rescue clinic Saturday in Athol hosted by NEECA. It was led by an MSPCA legend Roger who pioneered this type of operation. It was phenomenal! Learned so much. The "horses" Lucky & Patches weigh 600lbs (Large pony size) so it gave us an actual feel of what these type of rescues involve (average horses is ~1000lb they have done it with a 2300lb draft horse!) All horse owners/managers should attend one.
ISO for a friend.
