The Commercial Township Community Food Pantry is a division of, operated by, and funded by the Laurel Lake Community Day & Volunteer Assoc., a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization and a New Jersey non-profit corporation.
Please check the dates on the posts !!! Those of you who thought we were open on the 18th were reading a post from 2023.
We will be open on Saturday, November 23rd at 9 am. We are NOT open on the 16th.
We are very pleased that Michele from Community Benefits and Resources will be available at our pantry this Saturday. If you have questions about services or benefits you may be eligible for, please take a few minutes to talk to her. I did last year, and found out there were benefits I was eligible for that I knew nothing about. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. This is especially important for seniors because red tape can be so daunting to navigate, and Michele explains options and info in plain language.
Notice:
We are open this Saturday, September 28th at 9 am. For some reason, the township calendar has the wrong date.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
We will be CLOSED in the month of AUGUST.
We will reopen in September on our regular schedule.
Just a PSA-it is sunny right now, but we may get torrential rain later this week. Fill empty milk jugs, etc and freeze them in case we lose power. Even plastic water bottles freeze well. Better to prepare now than to regret later.

We were so honored to help celebrate Mrs. Edith Shelby being honored as a Living Legend by the Port Norris Historical Society. She was one of our first volunteers when we started our food pantry 18 years ago. She is the epitome of grace and goodness we should all aspire to.
Just a Reminder-We will be open this Saturday, March 23 at 9 am. We will be open rain or shine.

We are a privately owned non-profit. Our facility is at 1061 Steep Run Rd. in Haleyville, NJ 08324. We are located in the white block building where the ball fields are.We usually open once a month, on the fourth Saturday, but when events such as the Covid-19 emergency occurs, we open as often as possible.
