Update on our Fundraising for Tiny Hooves Sanctuary. We wrapped up our Bingo night fundraiser two weeks ago, but continued to give customers the opportunity to donate with every order until the end of the month. Over the course of 10 days, we were able to raise $43.00 toward supporting this wonderful sanctuary. As promised, we will match that amount 100% bringing the total donation to $86.00, for a month long total of $355.55 in donations! Thank you to EVERYONE who participated in this journey together! We look forward to feeding and entertaining you again, soon!

First, on behalf of Temple Goddess Cafe and Adonis Burger Co. I would like to thank everyone who has made Beyond Burger Bingo such a success! Beyond Burger Bingo is our way of supporting charitable businesses in the community that provide a tremendous service to others. Monday evening we were pleased to be able to present Bucky's Bull Rescue with a $407.64 check to support them in their mission to do good for rescued Animals in need. We have YOU to thank for helping us reach that goal.

This month, we will continue Beyond Burger Bingo with a new Mission and a new partner in service: We are pleased to announce that Tiny Hooves Sanctuary will be the beneficiary of our fundraising efforts for the month of May! Dear Friends of Tiny Hooves Sanctuary,

We hope this note finds you safe and well. As you know, our sanctuary has always been a place of compassion and hope for rescued animals. We believe in providing the best possible care for our residents and educating our community about the importance of compassion. However, we are facing significant challenges and need your support more than ever.

Donations have been steadily decreasing, making it increasingly difficult to meet our operational needs. We've seen a decline not only in our gala and major fundraisers but also in our smaller campaigns. This year has been particularly challenging for us, with many sanctuaries closing their doors. Recently, a sanctuary north of us had their animals seized due to severe neglect, and we weren't able to help rehome those animals because we had to close to intakes permanently. We need to ensure that we can care for our current residents without compromise because we will never allow what happened to those animals to happen to our residents.

Our monthly expenses, including feed, hay, bedding, and basic care, total around $18,000. This doesn't include any vet care or emergencies. With the rising costs of everything, we're really struggling to make ends meet. Even a dollar a month makes a difference. You can join our Patreon ( www.patreon.com/tinyhooves ) to get exclusive content and updates from board member Mandie for just a small amount a month.

We're asking you to please consider becoming a monthly or one-time donor. Your contributions go directly towards providing care to our forever family. We know times are tough for everyone, but if we can't cover our basic needs, we won't be able to continue our mission or grow our educational programs or to provide the care our residents deserve. A message from Bucky's Bull Rescue: "I would like to introduce you to Bucky. Bucky is our original baby bull and the namesake of our organization We learned of his fate at a nearby dairy farm. We were moved to rescue him from his terrible fate. Upon his arrival, he became very ill. At two days old he was diagnosed with sepsis and E.coli, which could have been fatal! With swift intervention by our local vet, bucky received life saving medical attention and soon became a healthy steer. Today Bucky weighs 2,000 lbs and is the Alpha of the heard and keeper of our hearts!"
