The Laborfest Parade will kick off from Zeidler Union Square at 11am, winding through downtown Milwaukee all the way to the Summerfest grounds. Join your local union or sit along the parade route and wave to union members!

Classic cars, the roar of the Harleys, lots of trucks and heavy equipment, and CANDY!

The WPTA State Apprenticeship Contest has begun. An apprentice from each WI UA Local and trade discipline competes for the privilege to represent Wisconsin at the district competition. They will take part in a trade specific and general knowledge written exam and a series of practical exams specific to their trade. After two days of rigorous competition, the winners will be announced and they will begin to prepare for the next level. Good Luck everyone!!
