I prefer giving long massages and want to encourage everyone to experience a longer massage appointment. I find longer appointments to be so beneficial, not only to our muscles, but to our connective tissue (fascia responds to time spent rather than force applied) and nervous system.

When you schedule, sign up for the amount of time you’d like, 90 minutes up to 3 hours, and the price will be adjusted at your appointment.

If you feel that this is too good of a deal, I accept (but don’t expect) tips.

This offering is first come, first serve and recommended to schedule as soon as possible for holidays. As for any couple’s massage, this can be scheduled for any platonic relationship as well.

Charcuterie and patisserie boards customized to your preferences. Classic charcuterie, fruit & chocolate, and brunch boards are just a few examples of possibilities. Patisserie done by Sarah, if you know you know (it’s fire). May include macarons, cinnamon rolls, cookies, mini cupcakes, mini hand pies, and more depending on your tastes. Wine, gourmet spritzers, mimosas, or other beverages may also be arranged.

I am just putting a few finishing touches on the new space, but open for appointments (https://muscle-alchemy.square.site/) Thursdays-Mondays.

Street parking is 2 hour metered Monday-Friday, 2 hour free on Saturdays, and unrestricted on Sundays. There are two parking ramps nearby; a block away at 225 E Chicago St and 2 blocks away at 212 N Milwaukee St.

For 2.5 and 3 hour appointments, if you need to park in a ramp, I will pay for your parking. $8 discount for the 2-3 hour range and $10 for the 3-4 hour range. Just bring your parking ramp ticket with you.

Please use Google Maps to find Muscle Alchemy. I’m working with Apple to get everything updated, but Siri will send you to the old location.

The new studio is on the 3rd floor. If for absolutely any reason you’d prefer to use the elevator, please text me when you arrive for your appointment and I’ll assist you since it is a freight elevator and needs an operator.

New infrared sauna (https://www.healthline.com/health/infrared-sauna-benefits -do-you-use-an-infrared-sauna?) options have been added to the service menu. Enhance your relaxation and enjoy many potential health benefits of saunas at a more comfortable temperature than traditional saunas. Add color therapy if you’d like as well. Robes sized up to Savage X Fenty men’s 3x because we do our best to accommodate all bodies at Muscle Alchemy.

We are still doing our best to maintain best practices as far as COVID 19 and other infectious diseases. Masks are still protocol in the massage studio. A mask or other face covering is definitely expected while clients are face up on the massage table as massage is performed under very close conditions.

Below you'll see Muscle Alchemy's new studio dog, Pacha. He is a very kind corgi/heeler/shiba mix who will greet you and then sleep during your session.
