Our Department of Environmental Health and Community Wellness is beginning a Family Education Program this fall from September 18th to December 4th. This program is FREE! If you and your family would like to participate, please complete the below interest survey. Children must be four years of age or older to participate.

Our summer camp participants had a fabulous time exploring and learning at the Mitchell Park Domes!

It's summer, which means our Walking With the Wise group is in full swing! Take a look at a recent group walk. Through walking, we connect with neighbors, improve physical and mental wellbeing, and enjoy our neighborhood greenspaces!

We were hooked on the good times at our fishing workshop at Pulaski Park earlier this week! We can't wait for our next outing at Jackson Park. Catch us out there from 5-6:30 p.m. on July 25th!

Thursday July 11th we have an amazing line up of lager beer, fresh fruits and veggies, eggs, frozen meats, honey, coffee, beerbq sauce, award winning mac & cheese, bbq pork, frozen soups, egg rolls, spit roasted chickens, crispy pork, Boba Tea, pickles, nuts, artisan breads, scones, mini breads, popcorn, dog treats and bakery, flowers, plants, soaps, books, plushy toys, specialty popsicles, and so much more!

Pickleball beginner lessons 4-5:30pm. Meet 4pm at the tennis courts across the road from the market. Adults and/or youth ages 12+ accompanied by a parent. Free event, although a $5 donation to our market is greatly appreciated. Thanks to Savage Rally Pickleball LLC for supplying the lessons and equipment!

Sixteenth Street is saddened to learn about the passing of Michael Lovell. President Lovell was a leader and source of inspiration in our community, paving opportunities for numerous lives and positively impacting all whom he met. We’re grateful for his support through the years, including being such a humble and gracious honoree at our 2019 Celebrity Roast. We send condolences to his family and all those who knew him. His impact on Milwaukee and beyond will live forever.
