Our team of cardiologists at Aurora Medical Center ā Grafton recently made history with the first procedure using the new Allia IGS Pulse technology in all of the Midwest. Not only that ā Aurora Grafton is the third hospital in the country to have this equipment in its cardiac catheterization lab.
The Allia IGS Pulse was designed to improve workflow for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in interventional cardiology. The system works to decrease motion blur for better visualization of moving elements, such as vessels, by removing the burden of manual adjustment during procedures. This allows our team to stay focused on complex procedures and treatment of patients. It also significantly reduces radiation exposure for patients and healthcare professionals.
Dr. Christopher Marowski performed the first procedure using the Allia IGS Pulse technology at Aurora Grafton. Since then, Dr. Steve Naum, Dr. Ali Khan and Dr. Adam Bykowski have all used the equipment in subsequent patient procedures. Congratulations, and thank you for continuing to find ways to improve patient care and outcomes for our patients.
