Well we've got alot of Birthdays in July! A very special Happy Birthday to Ms. Betty H., Bettie B., Maureen, Millie, Mr. Frank! Those not pictured are Ms. April, Buddy, Patsy, Mr. A.C., and Mr. Sammy J! A special Thank You to Debbie Mooney Reflections Hospice Of Texas for always making our birthdays special! As a special treat, Ms. Sharon Quevreaux joined us on the special day!!

So I know I'm a little late, but the Autumn Wind 4th of July party was fantastic!! A special thank you to the exceptional staff here at Autumn Wind for all their help, and thank you to Ms. Debbie Mooney@Reflections Hospice Of Texas for the delicious 'patriot pops'! The Dunkin' Booth was again, a huge hit!! And...Tiffany's hamburgers are hard to beat!!

So, we started a singing club and we are looking for a name! Please let me know of any suggestions...

The Autumn Wind Sunshine Walking Club! What a wonderful group! We have to get that walking in before it gets too hot!!

All of us here at Autumn Wind, Mineola wishes a very special belated Happy Mother's Day to all the Momma's out there! We had such a great time here! A special THANK YOU to Ms. Kim Patterson for the amazing corsages, Debbie Reflections Hospice Of Texas, Sharon Quevreaux, and our new volunteer Victoria Williams, for making this such a special event!

Oh what fun we had making and painting these adorable bird houses! Thank you Ms. Billie Kaye Hospice for coming by and helping us with this fun spring craft!

Ms. Sue Ellen and the Serendipity Band came by to see us the other day...and boy were they good!! And what a Blast we had!! They played a little bluegrass, country, and some gospel! We even had a couple of dancers!! Thank you Serendipity!!

We had just ONE Birthday this month. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MS. EDDIE FAYE!! Also, to our Assistant Administrator Ms. Britney, Happy Birthday! What a great time we had! And for a special treat, Ms. Sharon Quevreaux joined us! Thank you Debbie Reflections Hospice Of Texas for always making sure we have a special day!!

Oh my goodness, we had such a good time! Thank you to all the Autumn Wind staff and families that brought out the kiddos! A special shout out to Terri & Richelle , Mineola for being our Easter Bunny, and for all the help, and Debbie Reflections Hospice Of Texas for the amazing spread!

What a show!! We went to see the Lake Country Symphonic Band at the Select Theater and it was Amazing!!! We all had the best time!! A special Thank You to Kay Lamb and Jeff Hurley for all your help!

So...after the Mardi Gras celebration, Debbie Reflections Hospice Of Texas, and Ms. Sharon Quevreaux hosted a pajama party for us the next morning. We also discovered the very stylish nightwear of our very own Jennifer! Who knew!!

I know I'm a little behind on posting, so I thought we might take a reminiscing look at February!! Mardi Gras was in February this year, and boy did we have a blast!! We had a big Mardi Gras parade, and the entire Autumn Wind neighborhood had such a good time!!

A special Thank You to Clayton Harbor Hospice for introducing us to "Dreamsicle Floats"!! They were amazing!!

A super special Happy Birthday to all our January Birthdays!! Thank you so much Debbie Mooney, Reflections Hospice Of Texas for yet another super celebration!! How amazing it was to see Ms. Sharon Quevreaux! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ms. Charlotte (not pictured), Ms. Trudy (not pictured), Ms. Barbara (not pictured), Ms. Sonja, Ms. Betty, Ms. LaNelle, Ms. Wanda and Mr. Ray!!

What a great time we had at Red Dome this week! A special Thank You to Bob and Brian and the 1st United Methodist Church, Mineola, for the weekly outings!

Time to get ready for Mardi Gras!! Thank you Misty Heart to Heart Hospice! What a great time we all had, and the masks turned out amazing!!

What a great 'December Birthdays' party!! A special thank you to Debbie Mooney Reflections Hospice Of Texas for always providing what we need and helping us celebrate! HAPPY BIRTHDAY - Ms. Sara, Ms. Linda (not pictured), and Mr. Jeffrey (not pictured)!!

The Trinity Singers with Holly Brook Baptist Church in Holly Lake Ranch came by to see us, and man they were Amazing!! Ms. Wanda and Ms. Patsy, (previous choir members), joined in! Thank you Trinity Singers for coming by and making our day!!

The 2nd grade class of the Alba/Golden ISD came by and sang Christmas Carols for us! Oh my goodness...they were Amazing!! They also brought gifts for each and every one of our residents! Everyone had the best time!! Thank you Alba/Golden!!

And the winner is...!! The Autumn Wind Assisted Living Mineola Christmas door deco contest. Ms. Shirley took 1st place, Ms. Sonja, 2nd place, and Mr. Don came in 3rd place. Everyone did a fantastic job!

Ah the sounds of singing children at Christmas!! Thank you to Ms. Alison Atkins and the Mineola Middle School Choir! These kids were amazing, and definitely got us in the Christmas spirit!

The Autumn Wind Assisted Living Mineola Christmas party was a huge hit! Everyone had such a good time. It was a real treat to see Mary & Chad Cable!! A special Thank You to Mr. Rudy Waters and his lovely wife for coming to perform for us! Also, a massive Shout Out to Jennifer Bean, Tiffany Hollinquest, Brittany Bolotte and the rest of the incredible Autumn Wind Staff for their tireless help. Thank you to all that came out to help us celebrate this Christmas!!

A huge Shout Out to Pastor Jimmy Jarrett and the entire congregation of (my church) Calvary Baptist Church in Emory. They generously donated $1,000.00 to the Activity Department here at Autumn Wind Assisted Living Mineola. From all of us here at Autumn Wind, Thank you!! I cannot begin to convey how much this means to the residents and me!

So we had a lil pre-Thanksgiving shin dig! We played some games, ate some goodies and just enjoyed each others' company!! These folks are pretty good at corn-hole!!

Ok, so I know I'm a little late. But I could not...not post these kiddos at Halloween! What a great time we had!! The residents and staff invited all their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren to come trick or treating with us here at Autumn Wind Assisted Living Mineola.

A heartfelt thank you to all those who stopped by for the Autumn Wind Assisted Living Mineola 2nd Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony and Veteran recognition! What a great day to honor ALL those who have served our country!! HAPPY VETERANS DAY!
