The second week of Music in May is coming in hot on Thursday, and should be a good one! Gome grab some BBQ and walk-around beers at CowBurners, then stroll down to the gazebo to listen to some great singer-songwriters! Bring a lawn chair and a cooler!

UPDATE!! Looks like tonight's music is getting moved to The Line due to possible bad weather. You can still come eat with is before the show, and grab a beer, because I'm sure The Line's kitchen will get BUSY.

To say that Mack's closing is the end of an era is nothing short of an understatement. I grew up eating at Mack's as far back as when it was Cade's Split Rail. When he was still alive, my dad and I always used to talk about how cool it would be to own a barbecue restaurant, and dream of buying the Split Rail one day. We have enjoyed our friendly competition down the road, and will do our best to fill the void in the lexicon of Mineola BBQ that will be left after today. Yall go see them one last time, and we will gladly take the hit in order for their last day to be a total success.

The farewell begins... Friday and Saturday will be our last days to get our burger basket special. After Saturday, we will be closing for the last time.

We have enjoyed serving you over the last two and a half years. Talking with the regulars, welcoming the new people in town. The relationships that were built will stay with us forever.

News from Gigi at Dizzy Daq’s & Cajun Bowls LLC. She is on the mend, but it looks like she will have a LONG road ahead of her to get healed up and back at it. Let's keep her, her family, and the medical staff attending to her in our prayers, y'all.

Y'all say a prayer for Gigi. I don't have any details on her current situation or the accident that happened, but one of our downtown businesses has suffered a blow, and they need our support.

We pray God's healing hand over her injuries, and pray for Curtis and the rest of their family to have the strength and support they need to be by her side as she heals from her accident. God, please watch over them and allow for a full and speedy recovery. Amen.

CowBurners is hiring! We're looking for self-motivated, team-oriented kitchen staff to round out the team. Kitchen experience is a PLUS. We work hard, but we also have a lot of fun doing it. If interested, come in to the restaurant at 109 N Johnson Street in Mineola to get an application. Once training is complete, employees are added to the tip pool, and avg take home is $15/hr. Boy, these goodbyes never get any easier. Today is Kayla's last day with us, as she and Zack get ready to spread their wings and take flight on a new adventure in NEW YORK STATE! We will have a hole in our hearts without you, but we will continue to always encourage our employees to move onward and upward. Kayla started here without a clue about beer or styles or bbq, but has become one of our most valued team members over the years.
