Minority Enterprise Development Week will be held in New York State in the 2nd week of October of 2023 on Long Island. The inaugural day of MEDWEEK (Minority Enterprise Development Week) was held this morning October 10th, 2023, at Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street Hempstead, NY 11550 in which OMA had the pleasure to participate in! This event offered a venue for minority-owned firms to access information, tools, and resources to grow their businesses both domestically and internationally through networking events, workshops, and issue forums. The events that compose MED Week are meant to raise awareness among minority business owners, and the larger business community and support these businesses in their efforts to grow to scale. We appreciate everyone who came out and spoke to us at our table and look forward to seeing most of you at our MWBE SHOWCASE on 10/20/2023 at Nassau Community College!
