Heartfelt
Shop. Make. Celebrate. Owned by Lisa MacMartin, Heartfelt offers art and craft supplies, natural gifts and toys. Fairy houses are a specialty!
An eclectic mix of local artisan goods make unique gifts. We are accepting reservations for in store crafting.
Wool felting is a versatile hobby that is inexpensive, easy to learn, and once basic skills are mastered, the possibilities are endless!
Interested? Come in and choose a felting craft from our craft menu. We will instruct you. If you’ve caught the bug after that, pick up supplies and maybe a book and continue on your own! ❤️🐑❤️
Das clay is a wonderful product that we have carried as a staple in the store for quite awhile.
Its self-hardening property makes it versatile and accessible for anything from fairy food to school diorama projects. After hardening, creations can be painted!
Our 2024-2025 Preschool Festival Series is here! Take a look and see what appeals to you. You can register by calling the shop at 612-877-8090.

Last week was the final week of our summer camps, and with the conclusion of Things that Float and Fly, we put Heartfelt summer of 2024 to rest. We loved having your children at the shop...thank you so much for sharing them with us!
Best of luck for this who are returning to school today.
Remember, you can sign up for our newsletter on our website at www.heartfeltonline.com to stay up to date on all happenings. Information is going out soon regarding our Preschool Festivals and Fall Craft Menu!
We’ll see you next week ❤️❤️❤️
May all have a restful holiday weekend.
This fabulous mother daughter pair beat the heat yesterday and made these adorable sewn koalas ❤️❤️❤️.
The koala project and a few others from our summer menu will be leaving us to make room for fall crafts, so come in soon to craft off of the current menu!
Just two hours left to come in out and shop the Mini Maker Market! Maker tables pack up at 2:00 today.
WOW 🤩🤩🤩 We are amazed at the variety, quality, and marketing of handmade goods made by these young entrepreneurs. Come early for the best selection! All sales are cash. 💰TODAY! August 24th, 10am-2pm.
See you tomorrow! We’re very excited about this inaugural event!
Take a close look around our building and you’ll see clues to it’s history.
Our building is still owned by the Hawkinson Family, who originally ran their family grocery store here.
We are proud to be in this space and this neighborhood. Proud of its history. Proud of its heart. Proud of the generations and families that made this their business and worked so hard to serve their community.
Will we see you on Saturday? Let's support an amazing group of young people!
Alas, all good things must come to an end. We have done our last fairy plant purchase of the season from our local wholesale florist. We are in the FINAL TWO WEEKS of fairy garden season, while supplies last.
Fairy gardens are one of our most popular projects. Decorate your house, choose your plants, and workshop from the “nature bar” until your heart is content…all under the guidance of our expert staff.
How about a few highlights from Teen Artistic Accessories camp? Did you know that crafting positively impacts brain health? Crafting can also help with attention, organization, and memory.
On Saturday, August 24th 10am-2pm Heartfelt will be hosting a Mini Makers Market!
We have a good group of young entrepreneurs that will be setting up boothes and selling their handmade goods, while learning about economics and small business.
Will you support them by coming to shop on the 24th? It should be a very fun event!
"In 2011...Lisa opened Heartfelt, a craft shop that doubles as a drop-in studio for the creatively minded. Crafters are invited to stop in and pick from a menu of pre-selected projects that range from painting mini landscapes, to designing fairy treehouses, to decorating a line of German-based swords and crossbows with wax crayons that leave a metallic-looking sheen.
Dedicated craft specialists guide as needed, ensuring that each maker leaves with a creation they’re proud to show off.
The model sometimes confuses would-be patrons, who ask how they should sign up for a specific craft class. While reservations are encouraged, drop-ins are fine too. Lisa tells them, 'Think of us like a restaurant. You can come by any time. And instead of food, we serve crafts.'"
