Jam Dog

Very sad morning....I was at the "care room" with Ginger (Jam Dog https://facebook.com/FiddleJamDog ) giving her some oxygen before putting her to sleep. Cancer had spread to her lungs and she could barely breathe. I was happy she made it through the night...but barely. The folks at Mission Animal Hospital were wonderful and made an awful day a little better. I brought her home for burial in the location where I'll be building a rock/water/fire feature with 3 tons of limestone. It will be quite the memorial and knowing she's there will be very special.

Fun jam at Utepils Brewery on Monday...outdoors...nice weather...and dog friendly. Every third Monday these knuckleheads gather and jam. Good fun.

Friday I got to attend a back porch concert at Joe Meyer's place in St. Joseph...Dog Dad and his daughter Annie Oace drove up but did not stay for the jam session (doggie boo hoo....😞). The concert featured songwriters Ted Hajnasiewicz, Sarah Morris and Doyle Turner Music. When I wasn't on Dog Dad's lap I had my own bench 😀.

The big doors of the warehouse were open during dog-dad's jam this week. My little bed was right in the middle of the circle so I could stare at people when it was their turn to be loud (dog-dad calls them "solos"). If my dog-dad goes to Joe Meyer's concert this Friday I hope he brings me. His wife Susan thinks I'm cute!

Had fun at tonight's warehouse jam with Dog Dad. He was playing that fiddle thing and I found this little spot on his arm that fit my head perfectly.

Had a fun jam session with Dog Dad at the warehouse...and a special treat. I got to sit on his lap while he played! Well...in all honesty it wasn't that exciting as you'll see from the video. They were doing "Down by the Water" by the Decemberists (I was told) and some great players were there. Dog Dad's second solo break was MUCH better than his first (I am told).
