Since we are two blinks away from show time, I thought I would re-introduce the crew and give you a little background in who we are and why we started the 10K Frame Show. Honestly…We are just four opticians turned reps, throwing and eyewear show!

It all started on a dreary day in the fall of 2022. We (Eric, Becks, Paige and I)were at a show together that we hoped would be busy, bustling, fun and productive and much to our chagrin it was none of those things. It was very slow with no sense of engagement or excitement so we thought to ourselves… I bet we could do this and have waaaasy more fun. So we did. Our first year was in April 2023, which was both scary but exciting. And this year we hope to have even more fun with all you eyewear crazies, and cannot wait to see you!! So who are we..we thought you would never ask! 😉

Tamara Stockdale: ( ) this is me. I run all the social media and designed & built the selfie wall. I’m a creative nerd, and usually have some sort of bright color on. I’m also the Rep for: MN, IA, ND, SD, NE, KS, MO, WI

Paige Kraemer: ( ) She designed our website, and generally holds down the fort for all of us! A jack of all trades….this cat wears Allllll the hats and does all the things!! She is also the Rep for MN.

Rebecca Calantoc: ( ) Is our lovely Sales Rep Coordinator. If you are one of our vendors you have likely talked to Becks. She also co-created the music list you will hear the day of the show and selected the menu for all you hungry lil devils! She is also the and Rep for: MN, IA, AK

Eric Larson: ( ) Is our, “man behind the curtain” he organizes all the accounting things. He is also a wizard with a tape measure, and phenomenal at mapping out spaces! He also co-created the music list and designed a video that will play the day of the show that features over 10,000 frames! Crazy right?! He is also the Rep for: ND, SD, MN, NE, IA.

In 1991, an artistic collaboration was formed between designers Dory Isaacs from San Francisco and Jun Kobayashi from Tokyo Japan. This was the humble beginning of TOKYObay, a sunglass and watch company based for years in the Bay Area of San Francisco. Gazal, is a licensed Optician in Atlanta, GA who has followed her passion in eyewear to better improve the lives of both Patients and Eye Care Professionals. Her eyewear designs started in Film and Television from a few simple designs for celebrities and listening to the needs and wants of her clients from her own boutique. The need was simple, “Fashionable & Comfortable”. These 2 needs led to a sleek ergonomic temple design that contours the wearers face.
