Today is not only the start of February but a chance to honor Black history. Celebration of Black History month has continued with various names since its inception, 47 years ago. It’s a chance to amplify the resilience, rich history, and remarkable achievements of Black Americans. This is a month to learn more about American history and reflect on present day contributions by our Black relatives, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. At Employbridge, we encourage our colleagues and associates to use this time to learn from one another and foster a culture of appreciation.

Tomorrow is National Fun at Work Day! So, whether you're remote, hybrid, in-office/on-site, on the moon, underground, or anywhere else on the job, take a moment to boost morale and bond with coworkers by bringing some creative energy to the day. You could host a team activity, dress-up day, sponsor a lunch, give out swag bags, or lean into procrastination and organize an after-work get together day-of. It’s all about enjoying time and having fun with the wonderful people who share the workday with you. Team up and grow as a group.

At Employbridge, we focus on Championing People, Unlocking Potential, and few individuals in our nation’s history have done more to champion people than Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Today, we continue to draw inspiration from Dr. King as we serve our communities, and offer training and education to our many associates, nationwide. Another way we champion people outside of our walls is through volunteering, and partnerships with Feeding America, Junior Achievement of Georgia, and Hire Heroes USA. This MLK Day, we encourage our own associates and colleagues to take action in their communities by giving back and building a bridge to better for those around them.
