He holds a Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. Daniel’s career includes serving as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Laura M. Thomas in the Fourth Judicial District and working as an Assistant Public Defender in the Ninth Judicial District. In these roles, he managed diverse caseloads, conducted comprehensive legal research, and developed effective legal strategies.

Daniel also brings valuable experience from his work with ReadyCredit Corporation, where he performed contract analysis and revisions, ensuring legal compliance and clarity. His early career included administrative and legal internships, providing him with a solid foundation in legal research, communication, and community outreach.

Daniel is committed to providing compassionate, innovative, and effective legal support to all of this clients. Scotty is a dedicated family law attorney and child protection advocate with extensive experience, including his role as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

Scotty graduated magna cm laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he earned multiple honors such as the Full Tuition Merit Scholarship, Dean’s List recognition, and the CALI Award for Constitutional Law Liberties. He was also active in the Student Bar Association and received awards for his commitment to public service.

With a B.A. in History from the University of Minnesota Duluth, Scotty has honed his analytical skills through various roles, including law clerk for Judge Dale O. Harris in the 6th Judicial District, where he gained experience in family, criminal, civil, municipal, CHIPS, and guardianship cases.

As an adjunct professor, Scotty supervises law students and represented clients in child protection cases, preparing future lawyers to advocate for vulnerable children and families.

Scotty's personal interests include gardening, writing fiction, and restoring furniture, reflecting his creative and hands-on approach to life and law.
