Tongue Tuesday! While dogs have more taste buds than cats, they have far fewer than humans. They only have around 1,700 taste buds, which is about one-sixth of what humans have (approximately 10,000!).

Like us, dogs can taste bitter, salty, sweet, and sour, but because they don’t have as many taste buds, they use their sense of smell far more than their sense of taste when deciding what to lick or eat.

Have you ever smelled kibble? Enough said.

Imagine the food you fed to yourself and your children every day came from a large bag stored in your garage. Doesn't sound very healthy or tasty, right?

Our dogs deserve better. Stop feeding them kibble and give them raw, unprocessed, fresh foods.

Wolves and dogs have similar digestive systems that are designed primarily to eat meat.

Unlike humans, wolves and dogs don’t have salivary amylase, which is an enzyme that helps digest carbohydrates … but they do have pancreatic amylase, so they can digest some vegetable matter and starches. These shared characteristics cause may experts to recommend raw meat diets for dogs, similar to what wolves eat.

We distribute Albright’s Raw Dog Food. Their food contains NO grain, corn, rice, wheat, potatoes, peas, beans, clay or any other fillers. All nutrition comes from real food, not synthetic vitamin powders or added supplements. No preservatives.

We begin with only human grade meats and ingredients. We never use distressed or diseased animals, or 3D or 4D meats. The final product is not human grade, as it is only meant for pets.
