We'd like to extend a special thank you to the Center for Women, Faith, and Leadership (CWFL), who recently hosted a panel discussion at the African Reagent Hotel in Accra, focusing on the advancement of women. Our very own Sales and Marketing Manager for Global Mamas Ghana, Faiza, shared insights into the challenges women face and how Global Mamas is actively addressing them. We're celebrating community with a shout-out to Thinking Minds Ghana, an NGO based in Kpong, who visited us earlier this month at the Fair Trade Zone (FTZ). Some members of their team embarked on a fascinating tour of our production facility, exploring every nook and cranny. Many found themselves drawn to the bustling sewing department. They learned the ins and outs of machine operations and even mastered the art of fixing zippers. 🧵Armed with this invaluable knowledge, they're now better equipped for their future workspaces and empowered to tackle the world, one stitch at a time!

Earlier this year, we attended the USAID Trade Hub Learning event. Held, at Kempinski Hotel, Osu, current and past beneficiaries of the Trade Hub grant came together to exchange ideas on their business journey. During the panel discussion, our Production Manager for Sustainable Materials, Franca (L) shared how the COVID relief funds were a lifeline during 2020-2021. Accra Store Manager Dorcas (R ) was also there exhibiting our beautiful, handmade beautiful products.

Despite our numerous successes, we are still seeing, now more than ever, the effects of COVID on our operations. The ongoing challenges of supply chain disruptions, significant cost increases for raw materials, and economic inflation have continued to impact the livelihood of the Mamas and their families.
