Hey dear friends!
Almost a decade ego, I co-created Douala Soul Collective, a project engaging community around music, art and culture, with an eclectic collaboration of artists from different walks of life, while bringing people together.

After a long period of lockdown and the uprising following the aftermath of the George Floyd murder, the world, especially our cities, communities and small businesses, are still struggling and going through a healing process. We believe we have a fraction of responsibility to contribute to that Process and this project is gravitating intentionally within that interest. On summer solstice, please come out, listen to music and make friends.

On Friday, June 21, Douala Soul Collective, in partnership with Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul, will be organizing Rhythms in the North, a new festival to honor the well-known by some of you « Fête de la musique » and to celebrate the longest day of the year in more than fourteen places around the Twin Cities and beyond!
