Greetings! PLEASE NOTE: The school board has put Bryn Mawr’s much-needed playground replacement on hold and there is no timeline for when the replacement will move forward. Our students deserve to have a playground that is safe and in good shape. Parents are putting together a plan to ask the school board for immediate repairs at the next school board meeting on May 28. Come out today, Friday, between 2:30-4pm to support the Anwatin Middle School marching band. This yearly tradition always kicks off the Festival of Garage Sales weekend. They are planning to march east on Laurel to Sheridan, north to Hawthorne, over to Russell, south to Laurel, around the point and then back to school on Cedar Lake Rd. Please come out and support the students if you can. They have been working incredibly hard and this is always a highlight of the year for them.
