Can it already be 15 years, Marisa? You have contributed SO MUCH in that time by helping shape the culture of Countrywide! Initially, as our receptionist, she has advanced to our HR Manager / Executive Assistant. Your work in human resources has helped everyone stay on top of things and ensures everyone gets what they need to be successful with their work, which builds trust within the company.

Marisa's FAVORITE thing to do at work (which she finds VERY rewarding) is working as part of a team. When she first started, many on the team were in their 20s, and as the years have passed they’ve been able to grow up together and make advancements. She also believes that the leadership/ownership currently in place makes the employees feel valued and that their great work ethic provides a fun environment to work in, which she enjoys contributing to.

When Marisa isn’t at Countrywide, she is spending time with her daughter and husband at a family-owned cabin up north. They’re BIG OUTDOORS people; snowmobiling, ice-fishing for crappies, being out on the lake on a pontoon, tubing, paddle boarding, and going on trails with their Ranger UTV. The lake life is the other half of her busy and active life.

While at work, Donna's FAVORITE thing to do is troubleshooting customer’s problems over the phone and answer their product questions. She enjoys EVERY part of her job, because in the end, it helps the company grow and make progress.

When she's not answering phones, she's at home scrap-booking. They help memorialize family events, follow the life of her daughter, document family history and remember family trips. She has even made one as a gift for someone, now that's dedication!

Congrats on your 9-year work anniversary, Leighan! You're a WONDERFUL member of the team and a KEY CONTRIBUTOR to ensuring that our customers are well taken care of.

Leighan works for us out in the country, literally. Her remote home-base is Tennessee, and she loves it there!

Her FAVORITE thing to do is talk to customers. It helps her get to know them on a personal level, and it creates REAL connections. She then knows them well enough to offer GENUINE assistance that meets their needs. Her LEAST favorite task is when she has to tell somebody "no" (which rarely happens).

When Leighan isn't working, you can probably find her rock crawling (off-roading) in Hot Spring, Arkansas, or Hawk Pride Mountain in Alabama. She also spends as much time as possible living in her 5th wheel camper. Leighan loves horses, which was no doubt nurtured from riding horses at home and for the Tennessee High School Rodeo Association. She loves other animals as well - including dogs, raccoons and squirrels.

Steve's FAVORITE thing to do at work is quality control, taking a full count of outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and to continue the company's reputation of reliability. His LEAST favorite task is working in a tire container because they get HOT inside, which we fully understand and appreciate.

After hours, Steve enjoys trail and road bicycling. One particular path he enjoys is the Cannon Valley trail - running from Cannon Falls, MN to Red Wing, MN. (It's a former railroad track that was paved over for biking.)
