MedCraft Healthcare Real Estate is proud to be working with The Richland Hospital and Clinics on their Facilities Infrastructure projects. Projects include exterior restorations, mechanical & electrical upgrades, security improvements, interior remodels, and new finishes. The improvements address the current needs within the facility today while preparing for their future replacement facility. MedCraft has worked closely with hospital staff and BWBR architects to define the necessary facilities improvements. Market & Johnson has been selected as the construction manager.

MedCraft recently toured the Digital Building Components (DBC) fabrication facility in Phoenix, AZ where they prefabricate exterior wall systems. The following week, DPR Construction provided MedCraft a tour of the new Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital 7-story inpatient tower project, in Wildomar, CA, where the prefabricated exterior wall system was being installed. We also toured a nearby 84,000 SF outpatient facility being built for Kaiser Permanente, which also utilized DBC prefabricated exterior wall system. The use of prefabricated exterior wall systems on these two projects was more economical and reduced the overall project timeline as compared to traditional exterior wall construction methods.

Construction has progressed nicely through the winter on the western slope of Colorado. We have begun setting structural steel. Concrete slab pours and exterior wall framing will begin soon. Vertix Builders, Inc., Boulder Associates, CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region.

MedCraft is pleased to announce that the Yuma Regional Medical Center Foothills Medical Plaza in Yuma, Arizona has been selected as a finalist finalist for the 2023 Healthcare Real Estate Insights Awards for Best New Medical Office Buildings and Other Outpatient Facilities in the category of 50,000 to 99,999 Square Feet. It was a beautiful day to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of the HCA Midwest Health Corbin Park Medical Plaza in Overland Park, Kansas. The opening of the new Medical Plaza is the result of a successful partnership and team collaboration involving HCA Midwest Health, Menorah Medical Center, MedCraft, bcDESIGNGROUP and EXCEL CONSTRUCTORS INC. In addition to the project team members and Menorah Medical Center leadership, there was a great turnout of physicians, staff, and family members of Town Plaza Women’s Health and Family Health Medical Group as well as the Mayor of Overland Park, the Chamber of Commerce President, and members of the community.

We are thrilled to announce the Groundbreaking of the new cutting-edge Ambulatory Surgery Center on CommonSpirit Health Mercy Hospital campus in Durango, Colorado. It was a beautiful day for a groundbreaking in late October! Special thank you to the hospital Chaplain for the blessing over the project and to the Southern Ute Tribe for blessing of the ground and for the safety of the workers and caregivers.
