The Federal political director role is an incredible way to serve the CRNA community and utilize leadership and advocacy skills outside the OR! Responsibilities include:

•Facilitate Mid year assembly (MYA) Prep Meeting | Attend MYA | Schedule legislative visits (and attend) | Serve as mentor

•Attend monthly AANA FGA meetings (virtual): Support policy and work with AANA as appropriate | Mentor other FPDs as appropriate.

•Liaison to BOD: Give updates at in-person meetings (6 times a year and as appropriate) | Report to GRC to funnel information to BOD as appropriate

•Attend in district or DC fundraisers to represent PAC donations when opportunities present and invited.
