Another great project. It was a remodel and reimagining of a space that they loved with the treasures that they have collected over the years.

I worked with the clients on their collection of wall pockets, terra cotta architectural fragments, and pottery to be able to place them in the space to really showcase them.
I also had one of our great local wood artists create a new dining table. Done in beautiful walnut, tapered legs and we customized it to be a bit taller to accommodate her hobby of prepping and canning her garden goodies.

Working closely alongside Maureen of mint, inc. interior we also added antique mirror backsplash, fabric wallpaper in the display built in, added a fantastic rug, and new Conrad shades.
The space is organic, casual, and above all welcoming. It is a perfect prairie home.

Another fabulous bedroom suite.
The clients desired a Parisian Modern aesthetic in this downtown loft. Maureen Grace Haggerty of mint, inc. interior design brought a collaboration of inspired pieces and artisans to this space. NKS Artsource commissioned and framed the beautiful nudes to play off the color and beauty in the room. Lovely colored glass vessels flank the bed with over-scaled telescoping contemporary lamps. Random yet connected. Global inspired pillows were added to the mix. A lovely pearlescent/silver waxed Venetian plaster finished ceiling shines with a crystal and metal chandelier that finishes this dreamy space.

The TV purposely plays as part of the art collection! Not hidden away! We had to accommodate lots of seating in this long and narrow space. Collected and organic. So fun to play with the client’s travel finds as well as weaving in greenery to bring life to the space. And those fabulous vintage billiard balls!

Unexpected, colorful and whimsical!

Sometimes a piece of art needs a frame to really make it sing. Moving the piece of art to a better spot also gives the piece a new perspective as well. Nothing better than making clients fall even more in love with a piece that they already love. Bonus that the sweet pup lands in the photo.

Love this little pop of color!!! A mother saves so many memories tucked away to look at from time to time. Love that we pulled this piece of art out from her grown daughter and framed it up for the bedroom. Adding very personal touches is so important to make it your home. I love bringing in the new and also bringing a memory into the present.

Check out a piece of art my client’s daughter did in highschool… taped up in her old bedroom. We reimagined the piece… framed and placed in a prominent spot. One of my favorite transformations as well as it’s a stunner!!!

So proud to collaborate with the most fabulous Maureen Grace Haggerty of mint, inc. interior design to showcase one of her latest and greatest projects. A beautiful home for absolutely wonderful clients. I so enjoyed curating their art pieces and giving new life to pieces that they love. The art made it their home.

Playing with art for different clients and different spaces. Love mixing textures, mediums and also working with such incredibly talented artists. Inspiration is around every corner.

Crazy adventures this weekend. Headed to South Dakota to watch Chloe play. Side trips between. And making a big loop back to see Jack who was under the weather for his soccer game. Many miles, but got a few hugs from my kiddos… makes it worth it.

Installed this absolutely fabulous Tim Harding piece last week. This piece mimics their beautiful lake view that they have out their front window. Gorgeous from every angle in this room.

And I am also very pleased to have had my first installation by a female installer, Mandi in my 25 plus years in this business. Mandi was fantastic and did an outstanding job. I am so happy to have her be on my team going into client’s home.
