If you're ready to save more time & money on your formulations, especially when your product also involves process factors, this upcoming live webinar is for you. Martin Bezener will present "Advanced Mixture DOE for Formulators" on July 17 at 10am US Central time. This followup to the "Crash Course in Mixture " explains how formulators can create experiments that combine mixture components with process factors, include categorical factors, and deal with hard-to-change variables. Register today with the link in the comments!

Experimenters are using all over the globe, and our education options can meet you wherever you are. The Stat-Ease Academy eLearning suite is a free, comprehensive introduction to the powerhouse of DOE: factorial designs. Learn from the comfort of your own desk and at your own speed using these educational tools, and begin making the most from your experiments today.

Is your team partially or fully remote? Did your IT group decide to stop maintaining an internal server? Do you need frequent access to your (DOE) data on the go? It might be time for your team to switch to a Hosted Network License of Stat-Ease 360 or Design-Expert software.

Stat-Ease has always offered network licenses for teams, where your group gets access to a pool of floating "seats" defined as concurrent users. Previously, companies were required to host the license on their own internal server, but the Hosted Network option allows Stat-Ease to manage the license for you via the internet. And, as Andrew told us, it's more flexible, reliable, and easier for his team to manage.

Send us a message or an email with your questions about obtaining or switching to a Hosted Network License. We want to make DOE accessible for your group.

Many folks take the next few months to travel, so why not hop on board the train to better ? We're presenting three free, in-depth webinars for intermediate & advanced practitioners for you to add to your calendar.

First, Stat-Ease President & CTO Martin Bezener will present "Advanced Mixture DOE for Formulators" on July 17 at 10am US Central time. This followup webinar to the Crash Course in Mixture Design of Experiments (available on our YouTube channel) explains how formulators can design experiments that combine mixture components with process factors, include categorical factors, and deal with hard-to-change variables.

On August 21, consultant Richard Williams will teach about "Robustness studies: If anything can go wrong, prevent it!" In this follow-up presentation to his recent blog posts, attendees will learn about the assumptions and underlying concepts that need to be understood when setting out to conduct a robustness study, and what kind of design you need to fit each situation.

Then, Engineering Consultant Mark Anderson will wrap up this series with "DOE for on-target results with minimal variation" on September 25. He'll speak on how to achieve more robust operating conditions by modeling both mean and standard deviation to achieve on target results with minimal variation.

We all know that can save you months of testing, helping you find the "sweet spot" faster and more efficiently than ever before. But did you know that formulators need to use a special type of design to achieve this?

If you do product formulations, then standard factorial designs just don't work: they don't account for the fact that your variables are proportions of a whole. Mixture designs do. And when your work involves both changing the formulation and processing the product, mixture-process combined designs are the optimal tool for success.

Join us for the July session of our Mixture Design for Optimal Formulations workshop to learn how to effectively experiment with mixture designs. This comprehensive and interactive workshop will give you the skills you need to master formulation studies, from screening to optimization.

Stat-Ease Engineering Consultant Mark Anderson is bringing his expertise to bear in this webinar about complex planned experimentation, aka . In this talk, he'll discuss combining mixture, process and categorical variables into one optimal experiment-design. It covers an innovative way to minimize runs via a specialized “KCV” model using a delectable experiment involving chocolate chip cookies. Make sure you sign up for this on how to simultaneously optimize product and process improvement (link in comments below).
