Laura is a nurse by trade. She specifically enjoys caring for critical trauma patients and has worked in both the ICU and Emergency settings. Although she loves nursing, Laura has always been drawn to her creative mind. 10 years ago, on a whim she took a jewelry making class at a local community art center and found it to be a great escape. Ever since, she has enjoyed using metalsmithing as an outlet and a way to use her mind in a different way. She draws inspiration from shapes, textures, and the urban environment in which she grew up and lives-Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her favorite part about making jewelry is seeing someone else wear it and love it!
