Our Story
I never thought I’d have to write a note like this but after twelve years in business, Personalized Pooch is closing the doors. Due to an unexpected turn in my backer’s life she could not longer support Personalized Pooch.
I want to thank all of the wonderful customers I have met and worked with over the years. It’s true, Dog People are very special people. They are kind, patient and appreciative. In all these years there was only one really rude person.
I started Personalized Pooch because of my excessive and uncontrollable love for dogs ( and cats too!) I thought, what could be a more perfect gift for a pet owner than a product with a photo of their beloved animal. We started out with mugs and bibs and ended up with aprons, cosmetic bags, hand painted wine glasses, treat jars and Christmas ornaments. Our best sellers were our beautiful blankets.
I thought my customers would order mostly dog and cat items but I was wrong! Snakes, horses, parrots, a turtle and six bulls were some of the more unusual requests.
