Arthur Guinness, the creator of the beloved black brew, would be turning 299 on September 24! To celebrate this great Irish hero, we’re celebrating his birthday all weekend long! From September 20 - 24, we’ll be serving Imperial pints for just $6 (!!!) and handing out Guinness swag (while supplies last) at all three of our pubs.

What a celebration! And if that's not enough:

- On Friday, September 20, join us at The Local - Minneapolis from 4 PM to 7 PM, where we’ll have the Guinness Ripple Machine printing customizable images onto the foam of your pints for a truly personalized experience.

- Then, on Tuesday, September 24, enjoy live music from The MTVs, one of our favorite cover bands, at Kieran’s Irish Pub from 4 PM to 7 PM (just before the Twins game).

Join us to raise a glass and a hearty sláinte to this great Irish icon. You won't want to miss it!

Back behind the bar is the largest private event space at Kieran’s. The mural of Captain Edward Smith and the cherubs located behind the bar, the lifeboat shape of the bar, and the antique nautical décor all pay homage to the original Kieran’s, where the room was called the ‘Titanic Lounge & Lifeboat Bar’. Just inside the main entrance to the room, both the painting above the doors and the mural are original creations of local artist John Erste, who was a bartender at Kieran’s and the Local for many years.
