So we got pictures taken of all of my current boards and trays available in preparation of getting our shopify store opening. Lots of pics so sorry but if you are interested in anything please let me know.

Want to send a shout out to my wood guy Dan Johnson on Fir Road. Picked up some beautiful pieces of Walnut, Aromatic Cedar, and Flame Elder yesterday for some future piecces. He has amazing selection of locally milled wood from small pieces all the way up to 10-12' slabs for tables or bartops. His prices are spot on also. So look him up on facebook markeplace if you need a awesome piece for you projects.

Here are the pieces i got from him yesterday. A couple of the bigger pieces I am thinking of doing some resin pour tables with. Haven't quite decided yet...

Working hard to build my stock up before the spring and summer shows.
Just put the finishing touches on the river tray with white resin and chrome handles.
2 new ones are glued up and in the clamps, 4 getting their mineral oil finish, and the end grain (not pictured as I want it to be a surprise reveal) is in the sanding stage. 4 more are ready to be glued up and clamped.

Here is the newest bag by Elizabeth Keller , the galaxy bucket bag. It is huge! Made of vintage galaxy bark cloth, upcycled 50’s military duffle bag and blue and white ticking lining. Even the leather belt strap has starbursts!! The strap can be short enough for shoulder bag or lengthened for a crossbody bag. This bag is big enough to hold a full sized laptop or your gym gear. If you like big bags this one is for you!

Just put the finishing touches on the great serving tray. It is a awesome piece of live edge walnut encased in resing to showcase its beauty. It is 26" long x 12" wide and has was hand sanded to a 3000 grits smoothness and then sealed with 2 coats of rubio monocoat. Christmas is coming soon and this would make a woderful gift for a friend, loved one or yourself. Just finished the new cutting boards. The first is a 12"x18" cutting board made from Paduck and Teak, the second one is 12"x18" Paduck and Purpleheart with Ambrosia Maple accent strips, The next one is a 10"x15" 1 1/2" thick cutting boad of Acai wood with end handgrips, last is a 10"x10" 1 1/2" thick Walnut end grain cutting board which has raised feet. End grain is very resiliant and does not dull down your knives the way a standard cutting board will. If you are interested in any of these boards message me and they can be mailed to anywhere in US for small fee.
All of my cutting boards are 100% food safe and with a triple coat of mineral oil and then sealed with my own Bee's wax, mineral oil and orange oil.

So what better to do on this beautiful day but to start up the tools and make some new wood pieces.
I still have several pieces left from last season that need a new home and I can make a great deal on them. Just finished the wine rack I posted about last week and in my humble opinion it turned out beautiful but you be the judge. The top is made from a solid piece of live edge cherry with a cobalt blue resin to fill a knot hole and give it a pop of color. The frame is put together with wood pegs and glue no screws or nails and stained Java color. The wine bottle holders are cherry stained to match the top. This piece holds 12 bottles of wine and is 33" L x 34"H x 14" W. It will look awesome in any home. The price on this piece is $550.00 and is one of a kind. Come by the shop and see it in person along with all the other wonderful items we carry. I also can do custom order pieces.

So just finished the first batch of the wooden kitchen utensils I have been working on. Please let me know what you think, more will be on the way. These are 100% food safe and they are available now at the store. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I have wodden cookie spatulas, oven rack tools, soft cheese speaders, cake knives, large and small spurtles, and rice paddles. Still working on some other designs.

No matter how long the winter, Spring is sure to follow.
This is our last winter Blow-Out Sale of the Season! We need to clear the place out!!!! It is starting to look bare, which is what we want, changes are a comin'!! So I've been branching out in my skills and making some new items. Let me know what you think. Need to knock a few more out before i put them out at the store but here's a preview of what I have coming. I have Spurtle's, Rice Spatulas, Butter Knives and Cake Knives. It has been a challenge and also rewarding making them so I do hope you can appreciate my work when you come in and see them.

Shirt of the day, we are thinking of carrying this T-short in the shop, I need imput, yes or no. If yes please let me know size also ….. this is the only color available……. and go!!!!

We are OPEN!!!!! Elizabeth is feeling better, Bill will be in the shop, hopefully Elizabeth will be in starting to work on her handbags! Come on in and shop for some warm clothing we have some great Flannels and sweatshirts from Junkdrawer Treasures by D.d.doos, we just replaced our soaps that we ran out of over the Holidays, and just found a new artisan for our men's soaps and beard products. So after being closed for almost a week today is a great day to come in and see all of the new things we have and stock up on some warm clothes!

Hot off the work bench and looking for new home. Just finished these 3 new cutting boards. They are bathed and buffed and ready to go out into the shop tomorrow. Several more of their friends are still in the workroom waiting for their turn.
Plus finished this custom order beer flight for a customer, its going it new home under the Christmas tree tomorrow.

Not only are his tables functional for your home but they also double as covert gun storage with RFID locking. These are sold wood pieces and can be stained in a variety of colors. This country kitchen table measures 72"L x 36"W x 32"H and comes with 1 bench, and additional bench can be ordered, use your own chairs or let Elizabeth help you find some chairs to match your decor. the RFID locking system keeps your guns handy but out of unwanted hands and can fit multiple weapon up to and including your shotguns. Biometric locking mechanism is available for upgraded security. Not only does Michael make these awesome pieces but he is also a member of the US Army and we are proud to support him.

THOR HAS LEFT THE BUILDING.... WITH BETTE!
We would like to introduce you to Thor the fabulous Autumn Log Gnome!!! He stands a good 24" tall and weighs at least 12 # so he is a very sturdy fellow! He will stay put in a good gust of fall wind!!!! He is the creation of one of our newest Artisans Kim Ehninger she does such a fantastic job on these Log Gnomes, just wait for the Winter gnomes to come out next week with their live Evergreen beards that will last the whole winter long. Thor is only $78.95 so for this dude it such a great deal!

So we are going to do a thing tomorrow here at The Upcycled Artisan. I want to clear out some of my older cutting boards and serving trays to make room for new pieces I have in works back in the shop. So all of my older pieces with the WW logo on them are going to be 50% off. This is a one day deal and only good on those boards but believe me there are at least a dozen. This will be the perfect opportunities to start your Christmas shopping early, come into the store and see these pieces plus all of the wonderful items Elizabeth Keller has been working so hard to bring to the store for this fall/halloween season. Just finished this beautiful Cedar tray yesterday. It is 10" x 34" with solid metal handles. It is sealed with my food safe board butter and in my humble opinion is gorgeous. It just needs a wonderful place to call home in time for the holidays. It is $100 and we can ship for a small cost anywhere in the US.
