Here is a peek at the project that we are wrapping up with 🤩

This was a BIG project and required a lot of communication & detail work. Each room was looked at individually to see what needed to done flooring-wise and the materials required. And there are **hundreds** of rooms in a project like this.

Not only did we do tile work in the showers & kitchen backsplashes but there was amazing mosaic tile as well. And under those pretty tiles in the restrooms is a full installation of waterproofing, shower curbs, drain systems…everything!

THEN, there’s the hardwood floors…that scope was a BEAST! We kept as much of the original floors as possible and seamed in new wood to patch when the original wasn’t salvageable. We also installed engineered wood floors AND actual hardwood floors in other units & common areas. Some units even had stone LVP installed.

Definitely a project we are very proud of and can’t wait to share the full finished units, common areas & all of the other fun details we have in this project.

Happy New Year KC 🎉🥳 Things have been BUSY at the office lately! It is a bittersweet goodbye to one of our biggest & highest-profile projects to date : 💙 This was also one of our most challenging projects (in the absolute best ways) that it taught every single person of our team (installers, office staff, commercial team, warehouse crew, all of the bosses…and lots more) many things we never knew & as a result made it one of our favorite projects. We’ve been working with for OVER 4 YEARS on this hotel and everyone on our team at some point has referred to this project as “their baby” (I know I did on numerous occasions). 💙 We knew what an undertaking it would be and we absolutely had to work as a massive team to pull this one off and without a doubt, everyone did a phenomenal job. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

There are so many fun & beautiful materials, unique installations we’ve not done before, logistical headaches from COVID that we had to have multiple plans in place…& a huge thanks to our amazing supplier partners or else materials wouldn’t arrive on time or at all.

We’ll post more pictures soon and tell you more about the project because it was such an amazing educational & a once in a lifetime experience. We lived & breathed this project for YEARS and are beyond happy that KC & its visitors will be able to experience this beautiful luxury hotel for years to come!

The & project has been one we will never forget. Our team & company have continued to learn so much from our long-time partners , all the other trades we worked alongside, and our amazing reps & suppliers that became such good resources in all aspects.

There is no doubt in any of our minds that the people of KC & all of its visitors will enjoy these hotels for years and to come! AND it has perfect views so viewing our beautiful & the holiday lights coming up will be a special experience! 🤩🤩🤩

Soooo…in case you’ve been living under a rock & didn’t hear, was at the game with her (please please please let it be true) alleged boyfriend and many of us have collectively lost our minds. Whether you’re a fan of the whole thing or not, you’ve gotta love the publicity that KC is getting! We love our town and hopefully she’ll learn to love it too!

BUT the news that our MC Flooring family was extra giddy over was that they apparently partied at and this was a project we installed a few years ago! If you haven’t been to Prime Social, it’s gorgeous and has some of the best views of the so it’s no surprise they closed the place down 😆 This was a project that had many bumps & hurdles but the finish space was just beyond anything we could have imagined!

Also, we’re expecting a call anytime now from Taylor’s people about doing some work for her in the near future

We have been working with our wonderful partners on the for quite some time now and all the pieces are finally coming together! It’s our favorite part of the job when you get to see all the hard work, long hours, black & white plans, and sample pieces get installed and you see how beautifully it all is going to be. And, we get even more excited for everyone in KC to see all of the hard work by so many people have put into this project. This hotel is going to be stunning & like nothing anyone in KC has seen…it won’t disappoint and we are thrilled & anxious for the grand opening!

The MC Flooring will close at 2:30 on Monday, July 3rd & also closed for Tuesday, July 4th. We will return to normal business hours on Wednesday the 5th!

Happy Wednesday KC! Does this feel like a crazy long but exciting week?! Are you ready to celebrate the win, opening day AND the weekend?! Not sure how many have checked out but it’s PERFECT for all sorts of celebrations OR if you’re just looking for a unique experience with sky-high views of the with delicious food, amazing cocktails and a wonderful staff that is looking to make your time there completely memorable 🎉🥳❤️

We installed all of the floor tile & the fire pit but what you don’t see is all the prep work that went on under the floors and our prep crew absolutely stepped up at the last minute and made it happen! The mosaic tile around the bar came from Brazil and in these current times, logistics of getting material from out of the US is not an easy task but the lovely people at were there very step of the way, knew the timeline we were facing and made it happen!

We would not be able to do what we do without the help from our vendor reps, installers, distributors, GC’s and other trades who all understand that our end goal is to make something show-stopping and it truly takes a village sometimes. So, a BIG THANK YOU to all of them❤️💪🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻

If you’re in town for the hopefully you’re lucky enough to stay at the at 16th & Main! We installed this project a few years ago with and we are still in love with the finished product! The weather isn’t going to be too much fun this year but thankfully there is a stop for the right outside their door!

Another project completed! Sorry on the late post on this one…evidenced by the Christmas tree in several photos 😆 There were some really fun elements to this project so we were very excited to see everything come together at the end. The walls at the entry are 3ft x 9ft porcelain panels from next to gorgeous hardwood floors and 48in x 48in concrete tiles from so, basically everything in the entry is VERY HEAVY 😂💪🏻 Then, you have carpet tile in their meeting rooms. As individual pieces they were very cool and then once they’re installed they create such a unique look that there won’t be another space to look like it because each tile is different. The break room backsplash is 2x20 individual tiles that we used to create the herringbone pattern and then used a dark grout to give it some dimension. The opposite wall of the break room is a *very cool* set of wood wall panels from that ended up looking fantastic 😎 This material comes to us in individual 3ft x 6ft panels that then fit together like one giant puzzle. Looking forward to any future projects that use these materials because it was one we were all excited to be a part of when we saw the great design work by 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
