Please note that we will be adding an extra day to each summer program to make up for today, June 19, 2024. Please note that Thursday, June 20, 2024 will be a regular Summer School day.

WEATHER UPDATE #2: June 18, 2024, at 11:45 PM

Dear Sharyland ISD Families,

Due to the upcoming inclement weather, Sharyland ISD will be canceling all student summer school activities and summer camps scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, 2024. This includes all summer school programs, meal sites, and student activities. Makeup days will be announced soon, if necessary. As of now, office staff will have a delayed start time of 10:00 AM. Teachers and instructional staff do not need to report to their sites. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and assess the safety and utilities at our facilities to determine when normal operations can resume.

Further Information:
In the event of any further changes, we will promptly communicate through Remind, Skylert, social media, the SISD website, and news outlets. At Sharyland ISD, the health, safety, and well-being of our students, staff, and the entire community are our top priorities.

A new site is now available at Sharyland High School, accessible through the Castleman Gym entrance, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

🎉 SA3 hosted it’s annual Cobra Camp for the Class of 2028! 🐍

Day 1 kicked off with inspiring leadership and teambuilding sessions, setting the stage for a strong start into their high school journey. On Day 2, our students took part in the STC Summer Bridge, exploring the campus, discovering valuable resources, and getting a taste of college life. We wrapped up the day with pizza and networking fun! 🍕✨

R.D. Martinez Elementary Field Day Fun!! Our 3rd-6th grade students enjoyed a morning filled with fun activities during Field Day! Thank you to Coach Rosales and Coach Garcia for planning this event and to our teachers and volunteers for assisting!

Our 3rd grade students at Harry Shimotsu Elementary had the opportunity to experience the amazing development of chicks from incubating eggs to watching them hatch. They practiced patience, responsibility, and of course love. 💗
