Thank you to all who valiantly served to protect our freedoms.
Mission has a long list of men and women who deserve recognition, among them:

Lloyd Bentsen, a World War II veteran who served in the Air Force and became a four-term U.S Senator, the Democratic Party nominee for vice president in 1988 and the 69th U.S. Secretary of the Treasury;
Kika De La Garza, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a lawyer who served 16 terms as the U.S. Representative for the 15th congressional district of Texas;
And our CEO Teclo Garcia, a veteran of Desert Storm and Desert Shield who served in bases in the UK, Morocco, Texas, Illinois and Arizona.
Thank you to all the brave men and women who selflessly served to protect our nation.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Meet Dip it by Pilar, one of Ruby Red Venture's biggest success stories.
Pilar Gonzalez was one of the first winners of Mission EDC's Red Ruby Ventures competition in 2014 and received $25K to materialize and expand her business idea as a result.
Since then, she’s not only managed to get her product in more than 200 H-E-B stores across Texas, she’s now helping other women achieve their dreams.
Pilar now heads a co-packing manufacturing plant in the City of Mission, TX that is led by an all-women team. Together they package products for other female entrepreneurs.
Mission EDC board members Richard Hernandez, Deborah L. Cordova, Noel Salinas and Mission EDC CEO Teclo Garcia visited her plant last week after re-launching the Red Ruby Ventures - Build Mission Fund Grant.
"So happy to receive the MEDC board of directors at the plant who were not only witnesses, but also the driving force that pushed us to grow and expand now as “Co-packers” to attract and provide services to other food product companies in the city of Mission, Tx," Pilar said on Instagram.
