As we slowly enter spring, and leave winter behind, it would be a good idea for some of you to come down and go through our lost and found box. We have an assortment of items. Coats, shirts, hats, a shoe and someone’s dignity. Hide and seek is thirsty work so buy a drink while you look. Otherwise, our staff likes to reenact scenes from the movie ‘Tommy Boy’. Holy Schnikes!!

It’s Thirsty Thursday! Deep Eddy Cranberry is leaving, so we’re getting rid of what we have left. $3.50 for a shot, or a drink. Simone and House will be slinging drinks till close, but only one of them will flash you. (Honestly, we can’t get House to keep his shirt on.)

Hopefully this weeks doppelgänger post won’t get covered up by a post for another business. To finish out our doppelgänger series we’ll be turning the spotlight on our General Manager, Justin Manzer. I hate to use 2 mascots in one series, but it’s happening. The resemblance is just to uncanny not to share. Justin’s doppelgänger is clearly San Francisco 49ers’ mascot Sourdough Sam! I only speak the truth.

Did y’all know Mexican Moose is opening a second location at the old Sa Wa Dee spot? Another late night food option coming soon! Tacos always taste good even better at 2am! Their location in Dark Horse/Sunrise also operates late on the weekend!

Oh my!!! It’s time for this week’s edition of employee doppelgänger! You know, there’s just something about our newest bartender, Lexi Cline. Lexi’s doppelgänger is Cameron Diaz’s character Mary Jensen from the classic comedy ‘There’s Something About Mary’! Hopefully this post doesn’t p**s her off or I’ll be shouting ‘We’ve got a bleeder!’

Ladies and gentlemen it’s once again time for another round of employee doppelgängers!! This weekend will be focused on Simone (The Champ) Fielding! Even though the picture I’m using shows Simone with a rather nice smile, she can often times be found with the same exact facial expression as Jenna Ortega’s character Wednesday Adams from the series ‘Wednesday’ on Netflix.

Another week has passed which means it’s time for a new edition of employee doppelgänger!! This week the spotlight falls on Bartender Caleb Cisneros. This past NFL Football season provided us with the realization that sometimes Mascots are modeled after real people! Caleb’s doppelgänger is none other than the Cleveland Browns’ mascot, Brownie the Elf!!

Ladies and gentlemen it’s time for this week’s employee doppelgänger post. I’ve decided that for this week we’ll go with our newest bartender, Hunter Cordier. If there’s a better word that describes Hunter than ‘strange’ feel free to leave it in the comments. Hunter’s doppelgänger is clearly Dacre Montgomery’s character ‘Billy Hargrove’ from the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’!

We’ll eventually catch the notorious downtown graffiti bandit, but until that happens let’s move on to some lighthearted bar posts. Over the next few weeks we’re going to be doing employee doppelgänger posts. We’ll start with everyone’s favorite as***le, House. Managing the crew at the Bodega isn’t easy🤪. His celebrity look alike is bald Jason Kelce.
