CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT: To support firefighting efforts on the Miller Peak Fire, the Skyline Ridge Trailhead, Inez Creek Trailhead, and Little Park Creek Trailhead on Mount Dean Stone have each been CLOSED until further notice.

For now, the House of Sky Trail remains accessible as an out-and-back from the Barmeyer and Sousa Trailheads.

The best way to support our firefighters is to stay out of the incident area. Wildfires can be unpredictable and can move very quickly. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that visitors stay away from the Upper Miller Creek and Mount Dean Stone Community Forest area.

Five Valleys is carefully monitoring the situation and is working with our partners at the Lolo National Forest and City of Missoula. Five Valleys will provide further updates as information becomes available.
