Residents and team members at The Village Senior Residence attended the 67th Annual Five Valley Kennel Club Dog Show on Thursday, May 30. Residents excitedly watched and cheered for Caspian and Jubilee, 🐶 two canines whose owner, Mary C., volunteers at our community. Each week, Mary brings her dogs to the community for pet therapy with the residents. Jubilee, a flat-coated retriever showed off her water skills in the Dock Diving competition. 🌊 Her 14-feet and 3-inch jump qualified Jubilee to move on to other events where her distance continued to improve moving her to qualify for the Regional Dock Diving event in Ontario, OR, in August. The community was proud to donate to this event and show support for Mary and her talented retrievers.

Connecting to aging services made easier by Senior Living Expo The first annual Senior Living Expo at the Village Senior Residence was held Friday and was a chance for older adults to access a variety of resources all at once.

We are excited to announce that we have received the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).

This distinction is the first of three progressive award levels through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program. The Program honors providers across the nation that have demonstrated their dedication to enhancing the quality of care for our nation’s elders and individuals with disabilities.
