✨Shortly after the hurricane and flooding, I was able to meet up with this beautiful young lady! I’ve watched her grow up through the lens and now she’s in her final stretch of high school! Congratulations Sadie-Rose, class of 2025. ✨

Thinking of this sweet family. We took photos last week and it was a treasure to see their family’s love. Life is so short. ❤️❤️

It’s the season of Junior-Senior proms, graduation planning, and for my world, show season! I have been H O N O R E D to have this young lady apprentice my Junior Theatre class with House Theatre. She is sharp, witty… and it has been a joy to have her join our class!

Not an easy season as a parent - one graduating (not pictured here), and the other having reached a 1 year milestone with their first love. I pray for both of my daughters tremendously - for their wisdom, knowledge, and for an anchored future (whether they choose to live big or quietly - travel or stay rooted - may it be anchored in all they’ve learned)… that they remain strong and hold steadfast to their faith.

Today, I’m missing my mom. She passed away 9 years ago, on this day. This is our last photo together (October 2014) and I was messy, tired, and not quite wanting to be in it but I knew it was important to take the picture. Just not sure how important.

Even if you don’t hire someone, get your phone out and take the picture. Be in it. (And print it.)

Life’s too short not to capture the fleeting memories.
