The students at My Little Angels Learning Center enjoyed the hands on work it took to build their garden. Center Director, Ms. Amanda, discussed in her presentation how the children enjoyed finding the worms while digging in the dirt. This discovery led to great conversations of what worms do, along with a few squeals and screams. Congratulations to these students as they begin their Farm to ECE adventure.

Are you a child care teacher wanting to start your school year off with a plan for supporting children's behavior needs? Join Miranda Lord, Alliance for Children's Inclusion Specialist, as she leads a training on the Introduction of the Pyramid Model.

Ducklings Child Care Waxhaw NC used the Farm2ECE grant to purchase gardening materials for outside, a mud kitchen, an indoor hydroponic plant station and pretend cutting veggies for the younger children to be more involved in "harvesting and preparing" the vegetables they grow. We can't wait to see that mud kitchen in action! Congratulations on your award and your new project!
