This week is teacher appreciation week! These are daily suggestions for the kids that should have gone home in your child’s backpack last week. Please feel free to add anything you think will make your teacher feel appreciated and special. Maybe bring a school supply, a gift card or most importantly a great attitude and ROARING behavior!

Lunch with Loved ones is this Friday. Bring a picnic blanket and lunch to enjoy with your child during their regularly scheduled lunch!

In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, the City of Monrovia is hosting an exciting event on Public Safety next Saturday. It’s sensory-friendly, and both the MPD and firefighters will be there to help teach our neurodivergent kids about safety. Space is limited so sign up ASAP!

April is Autism Acceptance Month.. Please take some time to learn more about this diagnosis and share with your children and family. These are especially important conversations at Bradoaks since we have the district’s autism program on our campus. Let’s all promote a better understanding and kindness to this community.

Today our little scientists were so excited as Optical Engineer, Breann Sitarski, took time from her busy day with NASA Goddard Flight Center to speak with our first and second graders and answer some of their questions. We appreciate her taking the time to tell us about the Hubble Space Telescope, James Webb Space Telescope, and share her knowledge of space! 🪐💫

Our Bradoaks Village cheer team led by Ms M did an amazing job celebrating our awardees!

This year we presented our first ever Bobcat Heart Award to the 8 teachers / educators that were displaced from their classrooms due to the fire. Every one of these wonderful people poured their energy, time and heart into creating new, safe spaces for our kids. We hope they felt our appreciation.

Thank you Bradoaks for your participation and generous donations to our fundraiser! It is only with your support that our PTA can do what we do for all our children! We’re getting close to our goal. Let’s do this!!
