New Years Countdown! 🎉On the 2nd to last day of 2022, I’m sharing 2 market predictions with you:
- Home prices will continue to adjust, but the decrease only brings sellers back to early 2022. As prices level out, buyers can expect a calmer market where they’ll be able to regain leverage and less competition. Inventory will be low but will increase as spring arrives.
- The mystery will be interest rates. Some predict rates will keep climbing, possibly near 8.5%, while others think it’ll be closer to 7-7.5%. The most optimistic analysts say they may drop to 5%, but that low of a drop could indicate a recession.
🏡 There's no question that the economy is shifting and it may be hard for some to do business — but with every change there comes solutions. I can help you through these times.

Let's get right into last month’s data! The biggest takeaway I saw was the months of Inventory rate increasing. This directly correlates with the supply & demand in your market area. If inventory is rising, there’s less pressure for home prices to increase.

Advice for Buyers: There is more room for negotiation but don’t wait to buy later! If you are ready to purchase, don’t delay any further.
Advice for Sellers: Make sure you have a professional agent, to complete a Comparative Market Analysis before pricing your home to sell. You want to hit the market at a competitive price to sell fast.
