Pearl Hour turns 5 years old! next Saturday, September 7th. Despite opening the doors on September 7, 2019, escrow didn’t close until October 25, 2019 so for the first couple of months we couldn’t really do anything to the interior or exterior of this sweet old building. This gave us a chance to dream up the look. One night at the bar (where many ideas in the world have started) —Michaela from , Zach and I came up with the idea for blue with a big silver iridescent pearl.

This Sunday 🌕8/18🌕 The Zach Westfall Quartet plays FULL MOON JAZZ: songs about the moon. Cozy up in our lounge with lovers and friends over cocktails from 8-11pm while Monterey’s best jazz musicians serenade us under the full moon glow. Zach Westfall on Bass, Ben Herod on Sax, Adam Astrup on Guitar and Mike Shannon on Drums. 21+ 214 Lighthouse Ave. Monterey 🌹 A $10 music charge during 8-11pm goes to support these fine musicians.

On Thursday 7/25 we launch a new monthly tasting series ⭐️ Join us in the patio bar every last Thursday of the month for ‘herb class’ where Katie will lead a tasting and discussion about herbs and spirits, highlighting some of our favorite producers. This Thursday 7/25 at 6pm we welcome and a 5th generation grower-producer of blood orange amaro. We will discuss herbs and citrus featured in Amara amaro, flavor and health properties of bitter herbs and roots used in amaro, and taste samples from 3 bottles. Tickets are available online at pearlhour.com, $20 per person includes 3 tasting pours along with bar snacks. After the class at 7pm, a special Amara cocktail menu will be available to enjoy along with discounts on take home bottles. We hope you will join us! 🍊

We are excited to launch a new monthly tasting series called HERB CLASS. Join Katie, the owner-operator of Pearl Hour, an herbalist, and a Good Food award winning producer of cocktail bitters and tonics. Our first class is on July 25th at 6pm, and the topic will be BITTER ROOTS & CITRUS, featuring a 5th generation grower-producer of AMARA amaro d'arancia rossa, a lovely blood orange amaro from Sicily. Limited tickets are available through our website (ages 21+ only). After the class, we will host a happy hour with the fine folks from Oliver McCrum Wine & Spirits, with Amara cocktail specials to try. Hope to see you then!
