Awesome work by the Environmental Club helping out with Snapshot Day. We had two teams sampling a number of locations for water quality. Thanks also to Dr. Rushia Turner from chemistry for leading one of the teams.

Seminar Title: The Birds Are Telling Us
Abstract: What are the birds telling us? "Help us help you!" Amanda Preece, CSUMB graduate and local birder, will give a talk about why birds matter, what our local bird conservation organization, the Monterey Audubon Society, is doing to help birds, and all the ways that YOU can help too! Science presentation with motivational speaker elements. All are welcome!

We will have our beach clean up this Sunday, October 22nd from 9am-11am! There will be gloves, grabbers, and buckets available. But if you already have these, you can also bring them!
