Set up today completely on the beach mat that is for people living with disabilities . When approached to let them know she said, “oh I thought it was for beach wagons”. I kindly explained “no, they make access available for people who are living with disabilities.” Community please be aware of how we make access for difficult for others and see where we can do better.

With a global study finding that 85 percent of women and 79 percent of girls have opted out of activities due to a lack of body confidence, cultivating a positive body image in girls is more important than ever. To make it easier for parents to help their daughters develop a positive self image, we've compiled a collection of 35 empowering books for Mighty Girls on body image. We've included titles for all ages, from very young children through teenagers, as well as several books for parents and educators.

We worked hard this last year working with over 100 youth who are the pioneers for this program. These kiddos along with the teachers and specialists taught us how to provide an accessible and safe program . We hope your family will join us!
