A quick trip to the Kirk after working all night paid off. We capitalized on two bites on our first pass of the morning and I was a bit excited about it. lol The BP1265’s by and did the trick along with the for a deadly combination.

Fun and productive weekend with friends. Saturday was a 9 hour grind with only seeing 2 fish caught. Sunday we capitalized on our first night on our second short pass at high tide. Made a move to adjust for the ebb and hooked up two more time but only put one in the box. took it upon herself to try and find the fish and kicked the captain off the tiller!! Oh well. You do what works I guess.

Great late morning start to our springer season. Cool water and lots of seals and sea lions are not helping the bite or catch ratio. I am hearing of lots of fish lots to Fur Bags!! Hopefully the fishing picks up for everyone we only have a short window to take advantage of this year.

All of these pics and the previous post are all on the same camera at different times. 10 different bears and 2 lions a bobcat and only one elk in 3 months. Not one deer. Our predator population is out of control on the Olympic Peninsula. Any and everyone needs to make your voice heard if you are a hunter or outdoorsman.

Hoping for another good year for critters. The tasty ones at least.

What isn’t in the picture was the 20 pound lingcod that was released prior to boating this youngsters first halibut. Gotta love a 2 for 1 drop!!

Throw back Thursday and a blast from the past. I can’t wait to be back in the land of the giants this summer.

We can help you out together a full Alaska adventure if you would like or just saltwater fishing for multiple species. Spent the weekend with cleaning up the cabin and taking in the scenery.

Another great weekend in LaPush. Saturday was canceled due to inclement weather but Sunday was very productive. We had guests all the way from the great state of South Dakota come fishing and experience the great PNW!!

Late post from the weekend and still trying to get the rest of the pics from our guests. Water was great but the wind was not but we still got it done.

We had a great opening weekend at LaPush for halibut and hefty lingcod!! We have a couple holes to fill in June if you would like to have a day like this of your own. Direct message for more information. . . .

Just had a cancellation for May 20th and 21st. Halibut and Deepwater lingcod on Saturday and nearshore lingcod and rockfish. Offering a great price if you book the boat (6 people).

We have openings for halibut and deep water lingcod out of LaPush. There are a few weekend openings as of now but filling quickly. You can add a second day nearshore light tackle rock fish trip and get a freezer full of fish tacos and have a great time doing it. DM for details 🎣🎣

The fruits of the sea. We pulled a little over half of our tuna out of the freezer yesterday and filled 48 pints this morning. We did save a couple of loins for bacon wrapped medallions to compliment our elk steak.

We had a great weekend chasing long fins on the big pond. Plugged the kill bags with a great grade of fish. did a hell of a job at the helm and on the working end our troll rods.

Buy a boat they said. It will be fun they said. Party in the parking lot!!!

Wow. What an exciting and humbling springer season this was. The few days we made it out was full of surprises and excitement and the poor weather days well all I can say is I am grateful that we capitalized on the one or two bites we had. So looking forward to chasing these chrome butterballs in the near future again.
