Get to know your competition!
Odds are your competitors are already using social media, and that means you can learn from what they’re doing.
Conduct a competitive analysis:
A competitive analysis allows you to understand who the competition is and what they’re doing well (and not so well). You’ll get a good sense of what’s expected in your industry, which will help you set social media targets of your own.
It will also help you spot opportunities.
Maybe one of your competitors is dominant on Facebook, for example, but has put little effort into Twitter or Instagram. You might want to focus on the networks where your audience is underserved, rather than trying to win fans away from a dominant player.
Use social media listening:
Social listening is another way to keep an eye on your competitors.
Do searches of the competition’s company name, account handles, and other relevant keywords on social media. Find out what they’re sharing and what other people are saying about them.
As you track, you may notice shifts in how your competitors and industry leaders are using social media. You may come across new, exciting trends. Or, you might spot a specific post or campaign that really hits the mark—or totally bombs.
Use this kind of intel to better your own social media marketing strategy.

Do a SOCIAL MEDIA AUDIT!
If you’re already using social media, take stock of your efforts so far. Ask yourself the following questions:
✅ What’s working, and what’s not?
✅ Who is engaging with you?
✅ Which networks does your target audience use?
✅ How does your social media presence compare to the competition?
Once you collect that information, you’ll be ready to start thinking about ways to improve.
Your audit should give you a clear picture of what purpose each of your social accounts serves. If the purpose of an account isn’t clear, think about whether it’s worth keeping.
To help you decide, ask yourself the following questions:
1️⃣ Is my audience here?
2️⃣ If so, how are they using this platform?
3️⃣ Can I use this account to help achieve my goals?
Asking these tough questions will keep your strategy focused. 🤓

4 SECRETS OF SUCCESSFUL SIDE HUSTLES
1️⃣ Tell your boss about your side hustle.
Show that you’re bringing your skills from your side hustle to your day job, having a side hustle makes you more valuable. It’s also important to emphasize that you’ll continue to give your day job your all.
2️⃣ Ask for help when you need it.
If the current pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that life is incredibly unpredictable. Being transparent about your situation and its daily challenges with those around you can help you and your business thrive. Get in the habit of expressing where and how you need support.
3️⃣ Get strategic about your time.
Start time blocking, or scheduling out a specific time to complete specific tasks on your list. You must treat your side hustle as a business even when you’re having to do it outside of your normal hours.
4️⃣ Don’t quit your day job until you have a plan.
Not every person with a side hustle dreams of leaving their 9-to-5; you may very well want to keep your day job. However if you do want to leave it, make sure you have enough money put away and/or that your side hustle has started to make more monthly than your day job.

💸 THE IMPORTANCE OF MULTIPLE INCOME STREAMS 💸
Generating multiple streams of income can have a major impact on your finances. Even an extra income of $500 each month could go a long way towards paying down debt or increasing your investments. We often hear about the importance of diversifying our investments, but diversifying our income streams is just as important, particularly in difficult economic times like rising inflation and/or interest rates.
So, what Makes for a Great Source of Extra Income?
We could all go out and get a second job at Home Depot or Starbucks to earn some extra income. As you might imagine, however, that’s not what I have in mind. When assessing how you can generate multiple income streams, consider these factors:
1️⃣ Flexible: The ideal source of extra income will allow you to call the shots when it comes to your time. Particularly if you have a full-time job, the last thing you want is being tied down to working a set number of hours each week at a second job.
2️⃣ Scalable: Look for income sources that have at least the possibility of generating substantial amounts of income.
3️⃣ Sustainable: The ideal extra income source will continue to generate cash even when you’re not working at it. The idea is to build something that can eventually function without you.
4️⃣ Enjoyable: Generating additional sources of income is a lot of work, so you might as well enjoy what you’re doing.
5️⃣ Affordable: I don’t like income-generating ideas that require a HUGE financial investment.

What is AFFILIATE MARKETING? 🤔
Affiliate marketing is a fantastic income stream for content creators. It’s one of my favorite and most profitable income streams.
With affiliate marketing you promote products or services and get paid when you refer a customer. You have a custom link with your data that lets a company know when you have sent them a sale. For each sale you get a kickback.
Affiliate programs range in types and profitability. Many larger companies offer 1-4% of sales that you refer. Smaller companies or fellow content creators can offer up to 50% of the sales. Then other companies pay per lead or have recurring payments.
There are many ways to earn money with affiliate marketing!

What is online business?
Online business is any commercial activity conducted via the Internet.
What online business services you can offer on the Internet:
➡️ Selling items
➡️ Offering education and information products
➡️ Entertaining activities
An "Online Business" is a business conducted entirely online. Goods or services are marketed, viewed, purchased, and delivery is organized thereafter once the order has been placed and paid for.
Often the business never touches or sees the product as they are provided and shipped by the manufacturer or wholesaler.
This is known as " Drop Shipping" and business is commonly conducted as an " Affiliate" and you do not even need to buy the stock yourself. The wholesaler will post the item to the customer.

How many income streams do you have?
You need multiple income streams but many people make the mistake of trying to build multiple new streams at once!
Yes, that sounds confusing but let me explain. You need ONE solid income stream before you can go and build others.
It takes too much time to build multiple at once and you have a better chance of success when your focus is all in one place.
Build ONE solid income source, make it residual (passive), and then expand from there.
