My next scheduled day for sessions is on Thursday the 25th.

10am, 12pm and 2pm

I’m opening up my Massage table for Tuesday June 18th for 60 or 90 minutes each at 10am, 12pm and 2 pm.

$100 for 60 minutes
$150 for 90 minutes

Venmo or cash only.

Now taking on some of my loyal clients in my own home. Message to set up your session and get the address.

With my full-time job, I’m only offering two - three sessions every other Thursday and the opposite week is every other Friday.

Next Thursday is already full.

Setting up sessions for Friday June 7th and Thursday June 13th.

The sauna has been taken down in the massage chair is been taken apart. This place is looking like a skeleton with no skin.

I had a practical massage with our new hire this morning…. Beth did an amazing job!!!

I feel very proud of the fact that when I am closing my business down, I have both very strong therapists to hand off to the new owner.

Joe has been doing massage for over 13 years and Beth has been doing massage since 2008 many times seasoned therapists are easily fatigued. Not quite the case here, as both of these therapists are strong in the hands and very talented.

Beth is a former nurse, so she has an extensive background for medical issues, and Joe has a huge sports background. I encourage everybody to get on the books as soon as possible, and make sure that the therapist are busy. Have a great day.

This is probably the hardest thing I’ve had to write in A long time.

It is time for my hands to retire. They’ve been aching for the past two years and I’ve done everything I could to extend them out to the end of my lease (November).

A great lady has purchased many items to ensure that massages and yoga classes can still remain in the building. Joe is still working with all of my precious deep tissue clients and we just added another gal who has been a massage therapist since 2009.

I’m truly blessed to have all of your support though out the years. I’m pursuing a new career MUCH different than bodywork and will be challenging myself to grow once more through learning a totally new career.

I plan on still teaching massage and yoga in the future. However my home front has had many shifts in the past few months as well. We are moving, so my classes will mainly be presented online.

I hope that you remain loyal to the new owner and therapists. They are all wonderful and I entrust that they will supersede your expectations quickly.

Marilee will be keeping the MonticelloMassage.com website open and will most likely change the application in which you schedule on now. She is starting to share space with us now and will be in complete charge on July1st. Feel free to introduce yourself when coming in for your next appointment.

I was going to have a “Not goodbye, but see ya around” open house on May 27th but I will be attending a family member’s wedding vows.

We will need all gift cards, gift certificates and package punches redeemed by June 30th. Those sessions will most likely be honored by Joe and Elizabeth as I will be training for the time being.

Once I am settled into our new living space I may decide to still remain active with all of my CranioSacral clients as that has been my main focus for the past 4 years. No promises though…It all depends on whether or not a can keep a good home/work balance.

I’ve never been good at goodbyes, so I’ll end with see ya around.

Lucky us!!! “Sing this in your head like the Wizard of Oz’s “Yellow brick road”. Rain, snow, sleet, and thunderstorms and blizzard warnings. Oh my!!

WEATHER: Messy early spring storm moves in Rain, snow, sleet, and even a few thunderstorms looks likely Thursday and Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, snowfall amounts for our region are projected to be anywhere from 12-18 inches over this time period. We expect 4-7 inches from Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning and an additional 8-12 inches from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. This snowfall will be accompanied by winds gusting 35-50 miles per hour and double digit below zero wind chills.

I have already had some rescheduled appointments for Wednesday and I appreciate you. 😉 I’ll be changing the rest of my work day to a snow day as well. 🙂 safety first and with as many accidents I’ve been over the years. I too, will be staying home.

Due to my hand, we will be resuming our weekly yoga classes in the middle of March.

Sorry folks, but we’re cancelling due to the roads being nothing short of an ice rink. My car just about hit the shed in my driveway and I almost went into the ditch twice before making it to the county road. Then I saw this….IT is just not worth spending the day waiting for someone to pull me out of the ditch. We be in contact with each of you for rescheduling purposes. Sorry again.

With the new year, we’re commuting to weekly yoga classes. I’ll be adding more down the road but for now, we’re offering every Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30.
