Build your own flower bouquet is set up in the egg refrigerator at the dairy barn. There you will find a variety of flowers to choose from. The flowers are $1.00 per stem. We recommend bringing a bottle/cup or vase to put them in after you build your bundle. There are rubber bands to easily put your bouquets together with. Please put money for the flowers in the black box on the post beside the fridge! Enjoy building your own flower creations! ☀️🌸🌻🌼

Happy Monday morning everyone! Farmer James has gone back to our strawberry fields and has found some more strawberries! We will have a few gallons of pre-picked strawberries for sale today!

To our Greyrock Farms community:

The 2024 strawberry season has come to an end. We apologize for such an abrupt ending that we weren’t expecting. Due to the large amounts of rain at the beginning of the week the quality of the strawberries started to diminish. We appreciate everyone who came out and supported the farm this season! As most in the community know we are open spring, summer and fall. However, this year we have a new opportunity that will require us to close for the summer and fall seasons. We have decided to take a leap of faith and move the entire farm to Woodruff, SC. It’s an exciting opportunity that is before us and everything will be making the move! We will move our cows, chickens, strawberries/produce, cut flowers, pumpkins, playground (and yes our beloved combine slide). In the seasons to come we will continue to offer educational field trips and birthday parties. This move will require some time to settle in. Therefore we will reopen in Spring 2025, and we will no longer operate out of 5690 Anderson Mill Road. We are looking forward to what the future holds and hope to offer the community new items including raw milk fresh from our cows. As we make the move we will continue to post updates so you can stay up to date on what’s happening. You will be able to find us at 271 Switzer Green Pond Rd Woodruff, SC (it’s only about 10 mins from the farm stand now). We look forward to the future and seeing your family again on the new farm in 2025!

Green Acres Produce and Greyrock Farms strawberry festival is sure to be a [berry] good time. We are celebrating all things strawberry on May 18th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

• We will have strawberries available for purchase or to pick from the fields yourself.

• The Great Green Acres Strawberry Bakeoff is sure to excite you as competitors go head to head to see who has the best strawberry recipes. We ask that all entries are in the farmstand by 10:00 am. The competition will start at 11:30 under the picnic shelter. Two surprise judges will taste to see which ones are their favorites. The top three winners will receive gift certificates to use in the farmstand!

• There will be strawberry themed merchandise for sale and yummy strawberry doughnuts and slushies available.

• In the playground area there will be arts and crafts for children with temporary strawberry tattoos.

• Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in our picnic shelter and have some fun on the farm.

Come out and have some fun celebrating what we think is the best time of the year!

Exciting News: We are opening our u-pick patch today! Our u-pick patch will open at 9:00 and will close at 5:30 unless there are no more ripe berries in the patch. Farmer James surveyed the fields and there are lots of red ripe strawberries ready to be picked!! If you are coming to pick strawberries please park along the fence in front of our playground! 🍓
