We have an array of miscellaneous activities to partake in such as Axe Tossing, Archery, Knife Throwing, Molotoves and more! Immerse yourself in an atmosphere filled with Viking Metal and Celtic music while enjoying horn fulls of mead and a potluck feast! As a larger location is secured, we will have vendors and more performance entertainment soon to come.
Greetings fellow Viking companions! Unfortunately Viking Day will not be held this year due to COVID-19.. We greatly appreciate your support and attendance over the past 8 years and your safety as always, is our first concern. We look forward to reuniting next year and many more to follow.
We apologise for the late announcement, the past few months have been rough for us here at the grounds as a beloved family member recently passed..
Please take good care of yourselves and may ye be blessed with good health and fortune! We will see you next year provided it is deemed safe.
Till then, Skal!!!

A little word about my products J
In my forge I make custom made collectible, modern and historical cold weapons according to customers´requirements, historical findings, sketches and templates. I also make tools and accessories for bushcrafting. I stick to historical methods but i fit is required I also use modern techniques. In my offer you will find historical, collectible and modern axes, tomahawks, knives, war hammers, fire strikers, cutlery... I make my products of high carbon steel (or damascus steel) which is very hard material, mainly from old truck axles. I use high carbon steel for the whole axe head (some producers use it only for the cutting edge and rest is mild steel). Edges are harder because the axe is partially hardened. Edge can be sharpened or not (e.g. for historical fencing).
As regards handles, I make them of hard beech wood with oval diameter.
I have made hundreds of axes with wedges and current direction of the wedges proved ideal, as this is the best way how the steel part doesnt get loose. I use more thinner wedges rather than 1 thick wedge, because the steel part is better fixed this way and it does less harm to the shaft. There is a very little chance that the shaft splits when applying more little wedges. Wooden wedges can be made if required. I also sell axe heads without handles, as the handle is the cheapest part of the whole axe and many buyers can make it themselves.
For me it is very important that my weapons are of high quality, ready for hard use and battle.
The price of each axe depends on the size, shape, decorations of axes...
