We’re happy to say that Walk MS Kannapolis met the goal of $50,000 raised for MS research and advocacy. We were so glad that we could join in on the fun!
NeuMotion Rehab is joining the movement to end MS by participating in this year’s Walk MS event on April 2nd! We are supporting one of our hardworking clients as a part of her fundraising team. If you would like to make a donation or join us on the walk, DM us and we’ll provide all relevant info!
⭐️ Tom is a survivor of a dirt bike crash 2 years ago and one of our most consistent and dedicated athletes at NeuMotion Rehab. In the past year, Tom has met both small and HUGE goals including: getting back to driving on his own, walking with a walker, getting back into the pool for swimming (and relaxation), traveling internationally, and training a new puppy. ⭐️ Tom’s key to success is consistency and staying active with his home exercise program outside of NMR to reach his goals faster and more effectively.

This event is also being held to help spread awareness for Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). This is a complex neurological condition affecting movement in many ways and it is one of the many conditions we work with at NeuMotion.

Awesome job! Kacey finished her workout with this exercise where she practiced engaging her glutes and staying in hip extension while kneeling and catching the ball for coordination.
Wishing the best of luck to on his return back to NC state this weekend! He has really grinded in the gym this summer to work towards on-campus independence.
Progress starts with goal setting and Team Lance did just that!

After surviving a stroke 4 years ago, Rachel continues to work hard and break down walls surrounding the fittness and functional expectations of many of those around her. Rachel stays focused and motivated during her 2-hour long sessions, working on improving her strength, ROM, nervous system reitegration of the left side of her body, functional patterns to create neuroplasticity in the brain, and even adaptive Olympic style lifts and METCONs to keep raising the bar higher and higher.

Performing various exercises on the tilt table is great for building standing tolerance and incorporating weight bearing through the lower legs to keep the bones and soft tissue strong through the recovery journey 🦴 💪🏼
Please join me in congratulating this woman on a huge accomplishment! Susan has been working hard with our team and this week she WALKED WITHOUT HARNESS SUPPORT for the first time in over 12 years!!! Susan has not only impressed us with her grit, but also with her patience in herself and the ability to trust the process. When Susan began working with us, her standing tolerance was 38 seconds. In this video alone, she walked for one minute straight using upper body support for balance but the harness system can be seen swinging free above her. Congrats to Susan on her awesome accomplishment! 🥳
