Eye spy with our eyes something fun is coming to SGR! It is still a couple of weeks away, but the wait will be well worth it! Stay tuned for more details.

Thank you SGR families for your support at our bookfairs this year! We took the funds earned and invested in a Cover One book repair machine for our library. Rumor has it, SGR is the first MPS school to have one and it has been a game changer! What previously took days to repair books now takes minutes thanks to this machine!

Important! We have 2 important votes that need to take place at the May PTAC meeting, held Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 pm CST at SGR Cafeteria. All are invited to attend, run and/or vote.
- Playground addition with funds raised though PTAC. This is a capital project that has been discussed at PTAC meetings the past 2+ years. PTAC, students and the SGR community has raised over 50K in funds to put towards playground equipment. There will be a couple of equipment options to vote on at the meeting.
- Co Vice President position. With this next school year of numerous board members done with their positions, the current board would like to bring on an additional position of Co-VP. This will be a write in vote for any interested in running and it will serve as a 1 year position.

What a night!! Thank you to all of our families for making Family Fun Night a success!! We saw many smiles and hope everyone enjoyed the night! A huge huge thank you to all of our volunteers. We could not have pulled it off without your help!

Classroom basket donations! Items are due tomorrow, (Tue Mar 12) . The items donated are then made in to baskets that will be in the silent auction at Family Fun Night. The Scholastic Book Fair at SGR starts next week! This is a great time to add books to your students library while at the school for family-teacher conferences. Skate City party for SGR tomorrow night (Tuesday)! Be sure to wear your Spud gear!

We know our students enjoy outdoor recess so they can run, play and be outside, but sometimes our weather does not cooperate and recess is then inside. To help make indoor recess fun, SGR PTAC built each classroom an indoor recess box!
These boxes are full of games, cards, activity sets, building toys, puzzles, markers, legos, magna tiles and lots more!
A huge thank you to our SGR community for your support. Because of your support, donations, etc., we are able to do fun things like these for our students and school!
