Crucial advice from the event rental pros: ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Don’t wait until the week before your event to book your rentals!

Sounds silly, right?! But you might be surprised how many last-minute inquiries we get!

We will always do our best accommodate those last minute requests, but to make sure you get to use the pieces you love the most - book your rentals early!!

How early, you ask?? At least a couple of months ahead of time best, but the sooner the better!

Since you’re probably not in the event industry yourself, here are some things you might not think about: epic and smooth-running events TAKE TIME - to finalize choices, plan logistics, create and order signage, order supplies, customize/paint backdrops, schedule delivery crew - all these things are our specialty and we want to make sure you GET IT ALL!! 💪✨

So if your next event is coming up in September, October, or even already in August (EEK!!) - then DONT WAIT!! Meet Kimberly!​​​​​​​​​ Client Relations Manager​​​​​​​​​

Kimberly comes to us with a background in photography, business, and marketing. She is the key player in getting clients quotes and proposals - making sure every order is good to go and everyone has the information they need! She is the glue that holds it all together and keeps it running smoothly!

When not corresponding with our clients, posting on social media, or creating gorgeous marketing materials, Kimberly loves spending time with her husband and three kids. During quiet moments you will find her most often reading a good book, while curled up with her two fur-babies and a glass of wine. Traveling, nature and sunshine are also part of
what feeds her soul!

Meet Scott!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Scott is our jack of all trades. From building all our custom furniture, to hanging large creations over his head at the mall, to helping keep the operations running, Scott makes sure all Carrie’s dream designs become reality. He is also our resident dork, who can always make us laugh, keep us entertained with a little musical ditty, and always shows up with Starbucks at just the right moment. He also thinks the boss is really cute.

Meet Ali!​​​​​​​​​Warehouse Manager ​​​​​​​​​
Ali first met Gathered as a Bride herself in 2021! and turns out, she didn't want to leave, She has been with us ever since!

Ali is our warehouse manager, she is the one preparing and packing all rental orders that go out and make your event special🥂 while also managing tasks around the warehouse side. You may also see her if you come in for a warehouse tour and she will help create awesome ideas that fit you best and make your event beautiful and unique!

Outside of Gathered, Ali loves spending quality time with her husband, Noah and their daughter, Honor. She is currently expecting their second Daughter, coming December 2024! She is a free spirit and spontaneous, so adventure is always on her agenda and she is down for pretty much anything! Whether it's creating colorful art, being outside in the sunshine chasing her daughter around, or connecting with the people around her, and at the end of the day, Ali loves seeing those she loves walk in true authenticity and celebrating that within them.

Meet Carrie!​​​​​​​​​ Owner, Founder + Lead Designer​​​​​​​​​

Carrie entered the boutique rental business in 2012 with a strong desire to create something new and fresh for the event industry in Fargo-Moorhead. Combining a life-long love of design, interiors, craftsmanship, and artistry with a passion for customer service, organization, and sustainability, Carrie created Gathered - a company focused on guest experience and creative risk-taking!

When not focused on being a girl boss, Carrie loves spending time with her husband and two boys in theater, skiing, camping, and hiking, or enjoying quality introvert-time crafting, reading, and feeling the sunshine.

Q. What's your favorite piece in the Gathered Collection?!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​A. I LOVE the soft feminine look of our Camille Velvet Sofa. She's got curves in all the right places and adds a luxury look to any soft seating lounge! You could also add a fun backdrop, add some pillows in bold colors and she will be the star of the photo op. 🤩 📸

Q: What's your favorite piece in the Gathered collection?​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​A: Velma Loveseat- Dusty Blue! I love the color of this piece, she has a fun unique shape that is so versatile! Whether it's in a beautiful lounge, a photo prop piece, or your sweet heart seating at your head table, she is sure to be a STUNNER, and a unique piece that makes all the difference. 💙✨

Q: What is your favorite piece in the Gathered Collection?​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​A: I love the Clover Bars! It was my most challenging custom piece to build for Carrie and it is a stunner at any event!
You can use both pieces for a circular bar or rent one half of it for a half moon bar!

Q: What's your favorite piece in the Gathered collection?​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​A: Our collection of 3D Arches! They're such statement pieces and so multifunctional! I love that we get to repaint them a new color for every rental, add vinyl signs, add floral, fringe curtains, greenery, lights - and that we can use them in so many different ways - backdrop for a bar, selfie station, as a grand entrance, backdrop for a head table - we can use them separately or stack them together - so every time they're seen, the look is something fresh and new!

I also love that Scott said yes to building these for us when he probably wanted to say no 😅💁‍♀️ But he said yes anyway and then figured it all out! I am so proud of the creative engineering of these pieces to make them easy to assemble and take apart for easy packing and transporting!

A little appreciation for our Trailers, FRED and CARL. They work tirelessly getting to and from your event, to us our trailers an extension of our team, and part of the Gathered family. Which means, sometimes they need a little TLC and maintaining our equipment is a job of its own. Any guesses on how many tires in our fleet of vehicles that keep our rentals rolling!? ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

ANSWER: 26 TIRES!!!!

A moment for our Philip Slatted Arches! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Simple and neutral, this arched backdrop is one of our most popular pieces!

COMPLETELY FREE-STANDING - no posts, jacks, or sand bangs required! (Extra posts can be added for outdoor events to help safeguard against wind)
