Clinics are every Monday and Wednesday. There is no additional cost and no need to sign-up. Please note: this is only for players who are registered for the 2024 fall season.

We are excited to announce that soccer clinics are back this year. One of the six philosophies of AYSO is player development and we know that these clinics will be a big benefit to our players. There is no additional cost and no need to sign-up.

As you know AYSO is 100% volunteer run and we need volunteers to help us keep Saturdays safe and running smoothly. Sign-up today to volunteer for set-up, field monitoring, and/or tear-down.

Who can volunteer? Parents, grandparents, uncles/aunts, teens, and any child ages 12 and up. For those students looking for volunteer hours we are happy to sign off your volunteer paperwork.

Simi Valley AYSO is looking for a few more boys for their 2009/2010 birth year soccer team. They will be practicing at Mayfair Park in West Simi, so only a few minutes from Moorpark. Games will be on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings in Thousand Oaks. Games will not interfere with CIF or high school soccer season.

We are offering a discounted cost for player registration of $50 which includes uniform, player photos, and at least 10 games.

Coach Update: We are one month away from the start date! Head coaches who have completed all their certifications and are in divisions where all the head coaches have been secured, will be receiving their rosters soon!

It's crunch time! Now that evaluations for the older divisions are finished we are ready to start forming teams but the divisions below that do not have their coach spots filled yet will have to wait a little longer until we fill these spots.

The following divisions still need coaches:
6U Boys needs 3 coaches
7U Girls needs 1 coach
8U Boys needs 3 coaches
8U Girls needs 2 coaches
10U Boys needs 1-3 coaches
12U Boys needs 2-3 coaches
14U Boys needs 2 coaches
14U Girls needs 1 coach

If your 10U-14U player was not able to attend the June 29 skills assessment there will be a final assessment this coming Saturday, July 13.

8U girls update : a big thank you to Coach Adrianna for volunteering to coach. We now only need 3 more coaches to fill all our coaching spots.
This afternoon we had another parent volunteer to coach 8U girls- a big round of applause to Coach John for filling in another spot. Only 2 more coaches for 8U girls!!!

12U boys update: another amazing volunteer stepped up to coach for 12U boys - a big thank you to Coach Tim!

10U Girls now has all their coaches! Thanks coach Adelita for volunteering!!

Since my last post we have had several parents step up to coach. Thank you, parents! We still need more coaches though! If your child is in any of the divisions below, please consider volunteering to coach.

All players in divisions 10U-14U don't forget that you need to sign-up to attend the player evaluations. There will be 2 sessions. The first one is this coming Saturday, June 29. Details are all available on the link.

Year divisions are as follows:
10U - birth years 2016 and 2015
12U - birth years 2014 and 2013
14U - birth years 2012 and 2011

Over the weekend our Regional Commissioner sent an important email regarding player evaluations for all players in divisions 10U-14U. If you haven't checked your emails here are the details below and a link on where to sign up for either dates.

"As we gear up for another exciting season, we want to inform you about an important change to our program. Each child playing in our U10-U14 competitive leagues will be required to participate in a Skills Assessment Exercise. Participating in skills assessment is an excellent chance for players to showcase their abilities and give us essential information needed to better balance all the teams in your child's division for the Fall season.

Assessment Details:
Your child(ren) must attend ONE of our two dates, June 29 or July 13. Please use the links below to sign-up for one of these two dates. All assessments will be at Arroyo Vista Park."
